  1. Perhaps because your pond is more favorable to bass than picks, not that bass are more aggressive than pickerel.
  2. It makes zero difference. Pick your preference.
  3. Agree. I don't even like being in the outlets during peak hours, let alone fishing.
  4. Nope. Pickerel will easily overrun a small lake. In that case, the only solution is remove the pickerel.
  5. As you trim out for speed, you have to learn to use steering inputs to avoid chine walk. One thing to note, if you're chine walking, do not lift the throttle, trim down, then lift. It took me several hours of seat time to bet my Bullet over 80 mph. Be safe out there, and go in small increments. I'd get comfortable at a certain speed, and literally just bump the trim and slowly learn how to drive it. Some might say why so fast? It's easier to control your boat at 55 mph if you know how to drive it at 75 mph.
  6. NPR has daily updates in their national segment. Thinking of everyone affected, and hoping for the best.
  7. I've run into a few where it was intentional. Get their boat reg, and call the sheriff.

    Probably go with Pradco.
  9. In fact, my girlfriend works for a lithium battery R/D startup. They're getting a lot of business these days, with their safer batteries and electrolyte fill: http://www.nohms.com/
  10. That actually looks like a long ear sunfish.
  11. What I learn from scanning deeper areas determines where I will fish shallow.
  12. Yes, I deleted a few hundred messages, lol.
  13. Nah, this is cool stuff!
  14. Home Depot usually has nice ones.
  15. Dude! That's nice!
  16. "Free" and "unbiased" do not always go hand in hand.
  17. Meh, never gonna happen. The industry is just too small.
  18. The problem with standards is that they cramp innovation.
  19. Cleared out a few hundred of them, lol. Should be room now.
  20. Interesting. Seems to contradict how even the manufacturer describes it:
  21. That's what I should have been using, for sure. I had five rods with me, and this was the only one with heavy braid on it. It wasn't impossible, but it would have been much nicer had I thought ahead. It's not like I don't have 50 reels to pick from, lol.
  22. Fluoroclear is sketchy. I feel like it's more designed for vertical walleye fishing, like Vanish. Neither work well for bass. CX and CXX are very good lines.
