Peet’s Major Dickason’s
Been drinking it for years. Even converted my wife, who is a former Starbucks manager. If you ever get a chance to go to a Peet's coffee shop, so it. Peet's > Starbucks.

Ancestry??
I was adopted too, so the results surprised me a quite a bit. Was able to connect with my biological mother, a half sister, half brother, and an aunt, so that was pretty cool.

Interesting observation on reel sales
Okuma used to make rebranded reels for several reel companies/stores. That was actually their pitch when they started selling their brand: "You've probably already been using our reels!" It is a little ironic.

So sad and awful.

That makes perfect sense too.

Interesting observation on reel sales
I think they all do a decent job of matching feature sets and price points to what the market desires. Sometimes, there's a singleton that doesn't add up.

Interesting observation on reel sales
I'd be surprised that any of the rebranded Doyo/Banax/other had any design input other than specifying a bearing grade or main gear material. Maybe knob design, since those are somewhat unique.

- Glass boats and wind vs aluminum
I'd rather be in the Xpress than the Bullet on Erie. That's why I had both boats when I was doing the TX thing. Choose your craft wisely.- Interesting observation on reel sales
iphone spell check got me early in the morning- Interesting observation on reel sales
Not too much from Diana lately turns my screws. A couple reels are sweet, but most are meh to me. Their heyday was the mid 2000s. Then again, o feel the same about most other companies.- Interesting observation on reel sales
I've never considered resale when it comes to hobby purchases. Buy cheap and buy twice, maybe even three times. I've never owned a Lew's, though I'm sure they're nice. They don't turn my screws at all.- Glass boats and wind vs aluminum
I had a H18. It was pretty heavy, but still would wander in a strong head wind. Manageable with just an 80 lb troller.- Coping with chronic heart ache ~
Best Birthday wishes from all of the JFrancho clan!!!- History of the Palomar knot.
One of the best drop shotters I know uses an improved cinch knot. Goes to show, you don't 100% have to use a Palomar.- History of the Palomar knot.
I've used that knot since the 80s, as a teen.- Moderator Announcement
It's gonna take me a minute to put a fitting post in here. Departing is very bittersweet.- Winter 2022-23
We had snow this weekend. Tomorrow it's going to be 70.- Do you consider "live" bait cheating?
Four score and 14 years and still getting weird flexes here. Why does anyone care how someone else catches fish? Why even judge them?- Theory: Lifelike craws vs. Not
The cartoon analogy might be the craziest stretch, but might actually be right. Never thought of it that way.- Theory: Lifelike craws vs. Not
I've al says been more interested in the action of a bait. I do think realism is part of the picture with bigger baits, like 5"+ swim baits.- Any interest in trapping?
- Maximizing your prespawn time on water......learning from mine and maybe other's mistakes
I like the theme of open mindedness in this thread. I've seen so many crazy things on the water, I can't ever really know exactly what the deal is.- AH KRAAP. coworker stole my thunder
Bush league move. That won't serve her career well. - Glass boats and wind vs aluminum
