Cheaper Fluorocarbon
Actually, I'm pretty sure that it's the same as the BPS private label "XPS Fluoro" which was decent stuff before Invisx and Tatsu were widely available.

Sea Nymph Boats - Looking for reviews
I had a 50 on the 15, and a 75 on the 17 and they both screwed. Probably 35-40 mph top speed. They were both tiller models, though. Initially the 15 had a 20, and it was a dog with two people in it.

I use a little more, like 100 yards (two reels per 200 yd filler spool) only because I cannot stand feeling the connection knot.

Looking for quality anchor trolley
Well nuts....should be renamed "hell nuts" lol. Rivets, rivets, rivets! If you want to get fancy, Yakattack has rigging bullets, and the videos will show you how to use them in different situations, where you want to use a traditional screw/locknut fastener. They're pretty cool. I know this sounds hokey, but the "DIY" route is pretty much exactly the same as a pro install. Just that pro installer has done more than one. I don't think we'll ever get to the point where things are "pre-configured," due to tight quarters. Slide Trax on Wildy boats gets us pretty colse, though. Last tip - a little silent traction material behind pulleys reduces the clanking on the hull problem. Some pulleys, you can just put the silent traction right on them. I put this stuff all over the place in my boats: http://www.harmonygear.com/products/4365/Harmony-Silent-Traction-Pads.html

Fixed that! Don't use reel fill for leader, unless you're in a pinch. Real leader material is much stronger, more resistant to abrasion, and more forgiving with connection knots.

I wouldn't skimp here. Use a time tested copolymer or coated line like CXX or YZ Hybrid, if you don't want to spend a lot on line. These lines are less than $10 a filler spool.

Bass Oreno - How To Use?
I pop them. Plop - plop - plop - pause, repeat. The length of the pause can vary.

Hookset catchphrase?
I'm not sure what I say? I know I say something, especially in a tournament situation, so my partner knows there's a fish on.

Leader knot?
The braid will just slip out. The knot depends on the "weave" of the braid wraps cinching down on the softer mono-filament line. Keep praticing, you'll get it. It's never what I'd call an easy knot, but it isn't the hardest.

What time
I think this is one of those, "do unto others as you'd do unto yourself" type of deals.

Mend It Drying Up?
No, some is on a shelf upright, another laying sideways in a box for the boat, another gets bounced around at all angles in a chest pack, and then there's the one in kayak crate tackle box, which gets moved all over the place. In other words, all angles. But I sort of see your point. I still put the Horseradish in the fridge upside down, lol.

Mend It Drying Up?
I've only ever had the glass bottles? Mine got to be a couple years old, or more.

Need for high end spinning reel??
Cheap spinning reels drive me nuts - wobbly rotors, clunky bails that flop back on the cast, excessive twist from crummy rollers, AR slipping...you name it. I go Stradic or above these days. Yes, I prefer Shimano spinners. I have a Pinnacle Performa that actually pretty good too, but I think that's a $100 reel.

Looking for quality anchor trolley
There's tons of videos out there that show you how. Take some time to watch some YouTube DIY, and you'll get more confidence.

Your 1-2 pattern
1. launch boat. 2. wet line.

Looking for quality anchor trolley
1. despite what you think, it's not water tight. 2. we've been drilling into our boat hulls without issue for a 100 years. Why would a kayak be any different? 3. just follow the instructions, and properly seal the holes.

Kayaks...no love for them, only disdain
I have three kayaks, an 18' Xpress, and a 22' Bullet. I pretend to fish in every one of them. Come up with some real criticisms next time, we do not allow trolling. This one done.

Harmony makes a decent trolley. The Yakattack trolley came out after I installed mine, but it's what I'd be using.

Sea Nymph Boats - Looking for reviews
I had a 15' and 17' Sea Nymph deep vee, both tillers. Great boats, handle much bigger water than a typical bass boat, yet easily fished small water. The whole deal with a used boat, is good hull, engine in good running order, and no electrical issues.

Oil and Lube New Reel
This is pretty much my SOP with a brand new reel, though I rarely buy brand new. Any reels sent to me for review are not touched, since I'm reviewing the from an average user's perspective. Used reels are immediately inspected, test casts performed, and completely broken down, cleaned, rebuilt, and lubed the way I prefer.
