Winter Clothing - Outerwear
A lot of guys up here use the Arctic Armor. It's good stuff.

Ranger Aluminum Deep V
Ranger made tinnies back in the day, though I think they were rebranded Lowes or something. Lund has been making glass boats for a few years now too. Cat's and dogs are living in harmony. As far as the pics go, it's ugly. At least Lunds look tough. That looks like a tuna boat.

I Got Fat!
I play drums around 2 hours a day. That combined with 20 minutes or so hanging from the chin up bar doing various pull ups, has kept me around a buck and a half wet. I stop doing these things, and back up to 200 I go. I guess I'm lucky in that I haven't had to try to hard to control my weight.

My St. Croix Experience
I have, and the "over the counter" was not honored by the retailer. I had to deal direct with Shimano anyway. Rod broke on a hookset. Store manager said, and I quote, "I don't care how you broke it, we do not accept over the counter returns for rods. Period." So, as you can see, the mileage on the "over the counter" warranty does vary a bit. Now, a 13 year old (and discontinued) rod with a busted reel seat? Ship it back to St. Croix for $10. Two weeks later, rebuilt rod from the fore grip down. Thanks. I get the same rod I love back, and in the condition it was before it broke. Way better than fighting with a egotistical department manager drone for a replacement.

Spare Spool, Spinning Reel Rant
You can buy spares relatively inexpensively direct from the manu. Most spools are less than $50.

My St. Croix Experience
Or a dealer that even honors the warranty. The Gander near me does not honor them.

This is anoher product meant for this: http://www.lurenet.com/brands/booyah-baits/booyah-boo-flex-rig

Spare Spool, Spinning Reel Rant
The spares were usually garbage anyway. Didn't have the same drag set up as the main spool, or were made entirely of plastic.

C-Rigging Crankbaits!
I actually use a pegged bullet weight for fishing cranks deep. Looking up "jacking" a crankbait. Gets your deep divers down to whatever depth you want. Changes the action, and it isn't really cranking anymore, but it works.

I guess it's up to those of us with kids to change all that.

St Croix Avid Vs Premier Baitcasting Rod
It's just that you always have a fish on the end of your string. That's why you can't tell the difference!

Flipping Spoons In Timber
I do quite a bit of spoon jigging, I'd have never thought to try it in vertical timber. There aren't too many places up here that feature that kind of cover, but there are a couple...

Extend Wiring Endura 50
I always use 6 ga. for trolling motors.

New Shimano Stradic Ci4+
I would move up to the 2500 for fluoro, but that's my preference to have a bigger spool. It does two things: faster retrieve, which is helpful in the deep water I generally fish, and the line (6# Tatsu or Invisx, to be specific) is easier to manage. I have a few Daiwa 1500 series reels, which are similar to the Shimano 1000 in diameter, and while it can be done, fluoro is a lot easier on larger spools. As always, KVD L&L is a must, on any size spool.

Pro Bass Fisherman Killed At Motel Before Tournament
It's shocking and heartbreaking...simple burglary escalates to murder. A total waste. I hope justice is served.

How Come We Dont See That Many...
Just like bell bottoms, short rods will come back into fishing couture, lol.

Total Animals Raid Walmart
It's taking advantage of the system, for sure, but to call them "animals," is a little over the top, and frankly a little offensive. I've been on public assistance, for a short time, and store employees are often degrading and disrespectful - right up to management. I'm not justifying the behavior in the article, just making a point to be careful who your audience is when you use hyperbole. If you actually took the time to read the article, you'd see a quote from Springhill Police Chief, Will Lynd: Animals indeed. From what I can tell, this is a Walmart issue. The enacted a policy that pretty much told their EBT carrying customers they could take what they wanted.... Put yourself in their shoes. You telling me at least someone (not necessarily you yourself) wouldn't take advantage of the situation?

New Shimano Stradic Ci4+
It's designed specifically for light braid. Period. It's also .2 oz. lighter. I can't see this reel being used widespread for bass fishing at all.

How Come We Dont See That Many...
You will see more high end short rods....they are all the rage in Japan.
