  6. I have a pair of custom pliers made by .RM. They basically have a small cup on one side, and hole completely through the other. The last step is to tap a small punch with a tack hammer to get the pin out. I made a small jig out of a block of plastic to aid in this. Google up "spool-shaft-bearing-retainer-pin-removal" and you'll find the page.

  8. Well, it's pretty tough tough, when you keep saying it's something it isn't. It would be easier to stay on target, if you would accept you used the wrong word. Everybody makes mistakes; it's how we learn. From Merriam Webster:
