  1. Both marine. $3 is good too know.
  2. BPS has a three tube pack of Quicksilver for $26. They also have a three pack of Green Grease for $10. Is $16 more for Quicksilver worth it?
  3. I really enjoyed it a couple of weeks ago when they station ran it all day.
  4. With a ported spool, you can work the know into a hole.
  5. Ditto on the never getting these days back. (and believe me, one day you'll look back as these being the greatest in your life) As far as the ne GF, my experience is only with others and their issues. Concentrate on the kids, not yourself or a girlfriend.

Would there happen to be a video?

So far so good. Pain is relatively non existant right now. Slightly puffy. Dying to eat food I can actually chew. LOL

I was on PenK from Monday afternoon to the present. Even by Wednesday into Thursday, the pain was hardly even touched by Tylenol 3. Percoset 5's helped but, were short lived. The Vicodin although supposedly not as potent as the Percoset, seems to have done the trick. Just my chemistry I guess.

Antibiotics, yes. Still on them. This was too bad to treat with just antibiotics. (believe me, I asked!) I do understand the danger. Thanks for the concern (my wife is on your side) Very small glass sipped over an hour, very low dose.

I had one about a year and a half ago on molar #29, along with a crown. I somehow developed an absess at the root of the tooth. Would perhaps rather have a needle in the eye than this pain. Day one, Tylenol 3 wouldn't touch it, then on to Percoset that helped for short periods. (they worked better and longer at night when they were "aided" with Fireball cinnamon whiskey) By day four I was taking Hydrocodone and oxycodone depending on the pain level. Haven't had a good nights sleep in days. This morning at 8 AM, I had an apicoectomy with an Endodontist. Complete lower jaw nerve block and about 45 minutes of pushing and tugging that I will go to You Tube to see what it actually looked like. It sure felt crazy. Now it's rest, ice and Vicodin. I don't want anything like this again for sure. Okay Vicodin...start working!
  11. Last year I became a believer in the Pro Qualifier bait casting reels. My local BPS has some older model (gold color) Extremes on clearance for $39. How good are BPS spinning reels in general? They are the only spinning reels with that wide spool. Does anyone have any experience with them?
  12. My mother was diagnosed with stage 3 melanoma in Dec 2009. She was blessed to be getting her treatment at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore. She passed away three Saturdays ago at home surrounded by family. Three and half years after a stage 3 melanoma diagonosis is a LONG time. She and we were very fortunate. Keep celebrating!
  13. I used fish the one down the hill from the Sears Automotive at night. Nice fish in there at the time.
  14. Everyone must remember that if you want the inflatable to "count" as being onboard as a PFD, by USCG regulation, it MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES. I guess if you stow extra standard types, that may be acceptable. If it is the only one for a particular person, it must be worn at all times. http://sailing.about.com/od/lawsregulations/a/InflatablePFDlegal.htm
  15. I shave some slivers of glue into the sleeve of the guide. Heat just that piece of the guide and push it over the tip. It works especially well when your guide fits perfectly.
  16. One time long ago, I spooled up some Fireline when it was first out. I didn't know about mono backing and the such. Set the hook and POW! Deep internal backlash. Were his reels freshly spooled with braid?
  17. I've noticed that there are times that when you set the hook, your hand can actually move on the reel even as you are clinching your hand around it. You don't really that you are doing it until you accidently disengage the spool.
  18. Yes, ESPECIALLY since it happened with two different reels. One common denominator...user error. LOL
  19. Is it possible that he is disengaging the spool on the hookset?
  20. An article I read said the fish was 45". Is the fisherman only five feet tall? If he stepped to the left a bit, you would only be able to see his feet.
  21. My son and I met Ike right after he won the Classic. VERY unassuming. It was at a fishing expo in MD. He was sitting at table by himself one evening with some books he was trying to sell. We talked for a bit. He signed a "baseball card" of himself for my son. He looked through the bag of stuff we had purchased and talked about it. My son is 19 now and doesn't really fish at all but, he still remembers "that little bass fishing guy that talked to him and signed that card".
  22. I am not a NASCAR fan but, I can appreciate her competing with the guys win or lose. Bass fishing should have a regular female(s) competing side by side. It wouldn't hurt if they were pleasant on the eyes.
  23. 68 day, 60 night during the winter and I sleep with a window open even when it's in the 20's outside (my wife hates that)
  24. As would I. Minumum twelve depending on what your typical waters are like where you will fish the most.
