  3. Welcome back. We missed you.
  4. Welcome to BR. Lots of FL guys on here.
  5. Great product & stays dry. I bought the uninsulated jacket & bibs at least 30 years ago. They eventually leaked after 20 some years. Bought the insulated ones about 10 years ago & wear them the most for warmth as well as rain gear. They are very durable and perform the best if not machine washed. Just rinse with a hose & hang dry. If the gore tex starts to leak you can add waterproofing with a spray product using heat from the dryer to set.
  6. Take a look at 20lb titanium leaders. Very thin & supple enough not to hinder action on jerk & glide baits. I have had pike bite through 60lb flouro leaders. 80lb thru 120lb flouro is better if you insist on flouro.
  7. Good looking pond fish.
  8. Welcome home Dave from one PA guy to another.
  9. Kistler will offer a discount through their points program. I have known St Croix to offer a discount on multiple purchases.
  10. The new reels are on TW website with specs & prices. Supposed to be in stock end of January.
  11. Great videos. Definitely a beat down.
  12. Welcome to BR.
  13. Everyone else is using golden shiners & Rolo is using blue shiners. Go figure!
  14. The reason both poundages are listed is to help you select a braid that is similar in diameter to the mono you usually use. Almost all braid manufactures give the diameter in inches & mm. Baid is listed as x pounds with x pound mono equivalent dia. The diameter in inches/mm allows you to compare different braid manufactures by stated poundage as well as mono equivalent diameter. Not all 50lb braid is the same diameter.
  15. Good luck going forward.
  16. Anybody got a feel for the overall length of that big gator. I'm guessing 16 feet in length.
  17. Shrimp Brown Aurora Gold MS MJ Herring NC Shell White Aurora Black
  18. Best advice is to see an optical shop that stocks & sells them. They can help you get the right size frames for your face/head size. I went with a frame that wraps around & fits close to block out wind that dries your eyes after a day on the water. Glass is best for durability & scratch resistance. If your buying prescription lenses you need to chose what material works best for you based on thickness & weight. If you go to their web sites it gives a detailed explanation of what lens colors & finishes work best for blocking rays & getting the best polarization. Happy shopping Matt.
  19. Gators are not like fish where the female carries the most weight. All the big gators are male.
  20. That's a big boy! Almost looks like he is constipated by the way he moves.
