  1. Thanks to everyone who took the time to cheer me up. I really appreciate it. I'm just waiting the results from one last test before hearing what my treatment options are. Then it's full steam ahead. Thank you all again.
  2. Sometimes noise attracts them. I heard of a smallie charter boat captain that used to drop a metal anchor chain on the reefs to attract smallmouth bass by rattling it.
  3. Another advocate of the ML XF. The 6'-9" is rated from 1/8 to 1/2 oz lure.
  4. . TackleTrap gives a 15% discount to tackle tour members but not on Megabass. Ask for Gary or Brian.
  5. My favorites are St Croix, Loomis, Kistler & Megabass.
  6. Prayers are good but people need to wake up. The threat from afar grows every day and is now the threat from within.
  7. Josh I use a St Croix legend elite MM for 3/8 to 5/8 & a MHM for 1/2 to 1oz. Even though the blanks are moderate they still deliver crisp movements to the baits because of their high modulus. These are used with 10 braid & mono leader. Sometimes I will use a Loomis NRX 802C with 11lb mono or flouro. It is rated MXF. If your are using a fast or extra fast action rod you will need to compensate with either some line stretch (mono or flouro) or a loser drag or both. I use short taps with the rod & sweeps to impart action mixing it up until I find what is working best. Hope that helps.
  8. Lots of support to pull all bass under 15" when a pond is producing stunted fish.
  9. You have got my my support. I'm pulling for you. I'll even cast for you & then hand the rod back while your rehabbing. Just picture Steve Parks in a shoulder sling while fishing. That will motivate you.
  10. Based on your 2nd picture I would say solid 4-5 lbs. good length.
  11. Welcome to bassresource. My guess is your bass is in the 4lb range.
  12. I got you. Just poking fun.
  13. They did: LSU 7-1 Alabama 8-1
  14. Yes that Eric.
  15. I just heard that Eric Moore known here as SouthFlaBassAddict passed away. My condolences to your family. You will be missed Eric.
  16. Sorry to hear about you & the your wife's health problem. I hope she recovers quickly. Best of luck to you both Mike.
  17. Good suggestion above. Depending on your bait weights you might need a heavy moderate.
