  1. We have done well with scroungers & mag flukes as well as 6" & 7" sluggos. Slow reeling them near bottom.
  2. It depends a lot on where you fish. If you are fishing big water a multi-species hull might be better for you than a conventional bass boat. If you are predominately fishing shallow waters then a conventional bass boat would be best.
  3. You would have caught bigger ones with camo shorts on Steve.
  4. I'm guessing your 175lbs & the bass is 8lb-15 oz.
  5. 6 cyl Toyota 4-runner will handle it.
  6. You need to change your screen name to spiderman. WTG.
  7. Now your talking. Nice looking bass.
  8. You are a sleeper for sure! Most guys would die for that fish.
  9. Yes Brian he is brutally blunt.
  10. Nice bag Mitch. Same to you for 2014 & beyond.
  11. My condolences to both you and his family. He always sounded like a great guy in your reports.
  12. Well at least the rod didn't break.
  13. I'm finding it hard to believe that nobody has caught anything. Post up those results.
  14. Jeff only drinks Yuengling now that he is about to become a PA Lake Erie smallie guy.
  15. Maybe your employer will give you a couple of days instead of a couple of months. It has been a long wait for all of us. Mother Nature really threw us a curve this year. Hope to see you out there with some more prespawn pigs.
  16. I don't keep a running total of numbers but I would guess around 250-350 for this year biggest just at 9 lbs. These were all from FL & Mexico. No brown bass yet but will probably try on Easter Sunday.
  17. I would like to see him at the bar buying us drinks!
  18. PA has a trophy season before the regular season opens after spawning. During the trophy season you are allowed to keep one fish per day over 20" long. We simply put one in the livewell & wait to catch the second fish for a picture of a pair over 20". We release all smallies as I have never kept one. The only one I would keep would be a state record which requires weighing one a paper printout state certified scale like in a grocery or meat market.
  19. Look at the AVC70MHM Avid. Specs are 3/8 to 1oz.
  20. You can also try walleyecentral classifieds. http://www.walleyecentral.com/classified/searchresults
  21. Looks like a great topwater spot.
