  1. I heard they were killing live shiners
  2. Mac I'm older than you. I was just having a little fun at your expense.
  3. Must have been a really old guy.
  4. Sheet happens. I'm glad you & Steve made it out ok. I had something similar happen to A-Jay and I last year. I debated going one direction to safety with the wind at our backs but decided to head into the wind to get back to the truck & trailer. Luckily it worked out for us without any damage to equipment or ourselves. It is very tough boating with really strong winds directly at your stern. You never really get a chance to practice under those conditions. Hopefully we all learn from our scary rides.

  6. I disagree. I prefer to drown my lettuce as it is much more humane than slaughter. And if you drown it in salad dressing it is much tastier.
  7. I plan on spending some time with a Hudd 68 special and a tilapia hard gill.
  8. Less than a week to go.
  9. This is pretty accurate for bass. Length times length times girth divided by 1200. Puts your pb at 7.68 lbs. Congrats on the fine catch.
  10. Three baits cover it all. No plastics needed. 1-suspending jerkbaits 2-luhr jensen hot n tots 3-hairjigs
  11. I was talking to a renowned florida fishing guide who told me about a gator that attacked his client's first DD bass right at the boat as the guide was getting ready to grab it. He said he was so startled that he almost jumped out of the boat on the opposite side. They had not seen the gator previously. Needless to say the poor guy never got a picture with his trophy bass.
  12. Hot & black. Every morning fishing or not. Three cup minimum.
  13. I think you're confusing snaps with snap swivels. Use just a snap for attaching your crankbait, no swivel needed. The only time you need a snap swivel is with a bait causing severe line twist. l
  14. As always Roger thanks for sharing your thoughts. My condolences to you & Lois.
  15. It can go either way. But my basic premise is that if fishing big fish waters I would rather err on the big side.
  16. I know this thread is about line conditioner but had any one considered purchasing a conditioned line straight from the manufacturer? McCoy mean green. It's infused with silicone from the factory. Copolymer.
  17. Raider probably scared the color out of it. Must have been a real surprise to everyone on board when it first became visible
  18. It's amazing what a little sucess with a jerkbait will do for your confidence level. The more you use them the better it gets.
  19. Nice buggy. He is still driving the smallmouth race. Just hasn't got to the finish line yet.
  20. Great start to the new season.
  21. I know but some guys go south.
  22. Great video. When I read the title I thought Felix was the catcher.
