  1. Casting would have been ok but not shoveling snow.
  2. One of my better moments was taking this picture of A-Jay's new PB. An 11-11 on 11-11-13, Veterans Day. He will never forget that one.
  3. Glad you are safe. Tornados are wicked. Hopefully your insurance will make it right.
  4. I was talking about the ewg style KVD's
  5. The pain meds have worn off & you have become clairvoyant.
  6. Just pulling your chain. That does look like a lefty reel to me since the handle is on the left.
  7. That explains a lot now that I see your left handed.
  8. Mike is such a nice guy he might just do that.
  9. Forty feet in clear water with 20 feet of visibility. If they can see it they will come up for it. Rapala dd husky jerk, smithwick dd rogue, pointer 100 dd & matzuo prism shad dd.
  10. I tried. Lots of 6 lb to 9ish lb bass
  11. Did they mention to you about cutting the rod up to reduce the cost of shipping? Some times they will give you the ok to do it so you can save on the shipping fee especially since it is an obvious quality defect. Ask them if they did not mention it. They told about the same thing but after the fact.
  12. Yea but you are really young. It will happen. Just need to fish a big system that has plenty of big girls. Thanks. On Erie the 7 lbers are as rare as hen teeth.
  13. Haven't been there but do droll over their annual catalog.
  14. This one works great. The medium hook sharpener. http://www.muskyshop.com/modules/cart/products.php/nav_id/8/page/1/id/1063/name/SmityHookSharpener
  15. Benny bring beer. It is on at 3pm my house.
  16. For both of us. That bait had PB written all over it. As I remember Catt said his pb was on a lipless crank.
  17. I'm pretty proud of this one as my goal to get a pike over 30lbs took a lot of years searching. 32lbs
  18. Scrounger jig for me or should I say "SCROUNGA"
  19. Lots of lucky craft baits, rapalas. smithwick, duo realis, megabass, matzuo and a some misc stuff. The best piece of advice I gave you was to get out of the bay & fish the main lake. You listened & your results were pretty fantastic. Well done Steve. I'm still debating about which new PB you got this year is most impressive the musky or the smallie. There are both pretty rare. You and A-Jay both PBed twice this year. Congrats to both of you. All you have to bring is lunch for two, two rods & reels & a few favorite jerkbaits. Bring along your favorite hat for your new PB photo! Now I know why there were so many five lbers caught in 2012. Those smallie numbers aren't as incredible as the number of New England slobasaurauses you have posted up this year. I am always amazed by the number of giant New England bass posted up on this forum. You NE bassers are outstanding.
  20. I enjoyed talking to you yesterday. Keep the faith and we will all look forward to March at lake Baccarac.
  21. Manufacture defect for sure. Also a bad design with a cork foregrip. They will take care of it for you, save your wildcard for non defect issues.
  22. The St 36 is my choice unless I want a heaver hook for larger fish than bass like pike, musky or lake trout. I just started trying the mustad KVD's like MarkH mentioned & they have worked well. A-Jay swears by them. The gammy EWG work well too.
