  1. I answered 50+ years. Started with a cane pole as well around the age of 8. Old farts do rule!
  2. Beautiful as always. Love that new bait!
  3. I can't really relate to the gar aspect. But I'm sure that technique would work for schooling stripers & smallmouth.
  4. WTG, PB's are sweet!
  5. jason.s try a pointer 128. The auora gold & the auroa gold northern perch are good for stained water.
  6. Largemouth- lc pointer 128 ghost minnow Smallmouth-rapala tail dancer deep diver perch
  7. I have used them for pike. They are typically a low hookup percentage bait. They work best when fished slow on super long casts. A lot of times fish actually leap over them.
  8. A-Jay RW is just trying to keep our morale up. Just remember he was trolling for walleye when he got bit.
  9. Your on the road to a much healthier lifestyle. The added bonus of losing weight beside the the obvious health benefits is that your fish pictures will look even better because of the contrast between the smaller you & your trophy's will be even greater.
  10. Yes you can. I run a wet cell conventional starting battery with two AGM batteries fro my trolling motor.
  11. A-Jay congratulations on the new PB!
  12. Congratulations on your new PB. She is a beauty.
  13. Bass-Brat got it right. Thinner braid will give you more depth. Most 50lb braid is the equivalent of 12lb mono. To get to 8lb mono dia you need 30lb braid. I have been using 10lb suffix performance braid which is 2lb mono equivalent this year & I'm amazed how quickely cranks get down to the bottom in 15-20 feet.
  14. Congratulation's on the PB. Beautiful fish.
  15. Terrific post & pictures as always, Paul.
  16. Should be a #6 front hook.
  17. A-Jay, what helped the total count was one day we had 120 fish before lunch! Ended that day with 145 & then quit early. We even managed to catch a few of these bonus fish.
  18. Beautiful New England bass & a nice looking fur buddy.

  21. Hey Kent, at least you know where she lives.
  22. Your always in the zone. Quick thinking too.
  23. Nope. The guy with the moustache is my Barberton chicken eating high school friend.
