I am not a fan of either team, but since I have friends who are die hard Steelers fans, I am rooting for the CARDINALS!!

I have chicken wings sitting with the rub on them getting happy before hitting the grill. Half will end up as hot wings, and the other half will be BBQ for the women. The wife is making some stuff too.

Thought I would bump this up. I am going the first week of March, and hoping to catch some fish. Anyone with info?

I am sure it is his way of getting even. I had him out one day and he got skunked while I caught my PB smallie. I hear about it all the time.

I have a bunch of those too, in many different colors. They have been on my peg board for a couple of years because I do not use the ones that in my boat. I think I will leave them out of the boat this year.

I drop shot in less than 10 feet of water in the river here. I use 3/16oz drop shot weight. I start the year with 4" lizards, use finesse worms, senkos, and other small worms. I do this all summer long on the river. I have caught 20+ pound carp on the drop shot. Have fun catching other species too!

My uncle sent me pics from Northern Arkansas of the ice he has. The pics were from this afternoon. he said there was more ice and snow on the way.

I have been several times since that pic and only caught one more. it was about 2 pounds. The other guys I have been going with have caught some 5 pounders. One of them keeps making fun of me because I can not catch trout very well. I told him I would get even this summer when I do all the catching off the bass boat fishing for smallies.

I know how you feel. I keep buying stuff, and i put it on the peg board of "extras" and most of it never makes it into the boat.

I fish on the Snake River with depths similar to what you are describing. I fish with bandit series 100. White is a really good color for me. I also do a lot of dropshotting. I use finesse worms, 4in lizards, and 4in trick sticks (from *). This past year I started dragging a T-rigged * (from *) and did quite well with it.
