  1. As of todays almost 63% of the reels are lefties, never would have thought that.
  2. Wow, the price of cabin fever.
  3. I use spro for years, then tried Booyah's Pad Crasher. They both work about the same, but the Pad Crasher is A LOT more durable for a lot less money, bye bye spro.
  4. One of my favorite reels. At 9.1 oz. it is a little on the heavy side compared to many of the newer high end Shimanos, but mine has served me well over the years. If it was a 101 I'd buy it from you.

I've used them a couple times and had good service with no problems. I did try another outfit out of GA., It's been a month and I still don't have my complete order.
  6. I'm sure you are a much better fisherman than I and have much more talent and ability. I was referring to penetration of the cover. For me the punch skirt slides through the cover easier ( faster& cleaner) . With a jig and my limited abilities, the jig tends not to penetrate as easily and it takes longer for me to work it down through the cover. Much of the time I fish with lighter weights than 1-1/2 oz.
  7. I love the jig and could probably manage to get it through most anything, But I find the punch rig faster and cleaner in the real heavy stuff.
  8. Been looking at the Metanium for my NRX895c. I heard on other forums that many feel the Ci4+ is actually smoother than the Metanium. Who here has either or both and what's your experience? Thanks
  9. Anticipate using it for heavier jigs, flipping & pitching, and froggin. Looking on the higher end of Shimano's line of reels.
  10. with a user name of coots I thought you might be a duck hunter, I just wear my duck stuff when needed
  11. NBA to me is the most BORING of the major sports. I just can't get into it.
  12. Sandwich, cliff bars, granolas bars, water. In the summer we can be out on the water 12hrs + . Got to be full and happy.
  13. Many waters that I catch bass on a jig has probably never seen a crawfish.
  14. No. I'm always excited, but I keep my mouth shut
  15. Yah Hootie, you were too quick. The best they could hope for when I was a kid was someone with a fast crayon
  16. Pay your brother in law back. Go out and enjoy the reel, take care of it, and don't feel guilty. The one thing your brother in law wanted to do was to make you happy. Be happy and thankful and go have a lot of fun. (be sure to tell him thanks and relay stories about the fish you catch with it.)
