Who do you think could teach you the most for your type of fishing or who might be the most fun. If you could fish a day with any pro who would you choose and why?

I still think ND is a good football team, but now we know what happens when good meets great.

I'm excited to try it out as soon as the ice leaves. I love fishing jig but I'm sure I'll get better penetration with a putch rig. Til then I just keep reading and watching videos on them

I bought the Ci4 to put on my NRX. I wanted to go a light as possible and it is a fine set-up, but my Stradic fh is noticablly smoothier than the Ci4 even though it's much older. I do own a President and believe it's one of the best reels for the $$$$, but I don't fish with it that much and have run into a few issue with it. If I were to buy another reel it would probably be another Sustain.

I also like the format,one of my favorite fishing shows. I share many of the views here on Ike. I can tolerate such actions in juveniles sometimes, but it just gets old and uncomfortable with Ike. Great talent though.

How well do they work compared to plain bullet weights? How well do they hold the skirt on?

Seen a lot of price difference on tungsten and hear some less expensive brands are rough on line. What have you used that has worked well for you. 3/4 oz. and heavier ? Thanks

Need to buy some, I've heard good and bad about some brands and wanted some first hand reports on whats working.

I use straight hi vis yellow most of the time and darken 10-15 ft. at the end with a magic marker. In clearer water I use a leader

DO NOT OVERLOOK this baby. I bought one last year and am so glad I did. I wanted something I could stand up in and yet would fit in the trunk of the car. I would be leary of large bodies of water, like I would be in any pontoon boat, but for smaller lakes, ponds and lazy rivers it has worked out great. I use a 55# tm and it moves nice. It pumps up in like 3-4 minutes with a pump that I hook up to the tm battery. I enjoy fishing a lot more when I'm standing up so my canoe or a Kayak was alway real akward for me. Don't pass it up without doing some research on this check out the website and reviews.

Interesting info- I haven't noticed any negative effect from using deet yet but I'll pay more attention in the future.

Hard to beat a bps crankin stick for the money

for me the stratic would be as low as I would go.

Straight braid- my last three pb's have been with no leader on braid, so I guess it's working so far.

MBR 844c IMX great jig rod, find a good used one around $180

X2 But I also use mine for froggin and light flippin. I sure there might be a better rod for each application, but the MBR844c covers all of these very well for me.
