  1. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1244591140 For surf fishing use shrimp. Live shrimp is even better. Expect to catch many sharks, they are about to spawn or they already have. I don't remember. Most of the best charters are out of Morehead City, Atlantic Beach, and Emerald Isle. Usually you can walk around the slips and pick the one you want. I've been on several by at least 3 different companies and haven't been disappointed. The only company name I can remember is Captain Stacy. http://www.captstacy.com/ Oh, several charters post fishing reports on NCAngler.com. Ask there and you'll get a really good answer. Those guys know what they are doing.
  2. Why not just use a tarp and straps once a month?
  3. Why is this any different than shooting a 10 point buck? If its legal, there's nothing anybody can to but disagree. (Coming from a person that has never kept a freshwater fish.)

I've have the Costa 580 lenses. They were nice, but not worth the extra money and weight. Now I have the Fathoms with Copper/Green mirror lenses. Generally you want green mirror for inshore and blue for offshore. Amber and copper are great fishing lenses, and gray are great all around lenses.
  5. Very nice!
  6. I use the Parabolic for treble hooks, the and MHF for everything else.
  7. I had to order mine from Cabela's. It's not listed as Parabolic there though I don't think. I think it's listed as Medium Moderate
  8. There are many different rods in the LTX series. The Parabolic is just one of them, and its made for cranking. Your worm rod will be different. For instance, I have a 6'9" MH (CLTX691MH-C) for my worm rod, and the 6'9" M Parabolic (CLTX691P-C) for cranking.
  9. 1) MH 2) Whatever you want 3) On the LTX Parabolic 4) Cranking (Parabolic) 5) Yes 6) Mine ain't broke. If they do, they have a lifetime warranty.
  10. This is a sad, sad day for all, especially those in the south. LBH, That my friend is liquid gold.
  11. I just got back from a fishing trip to Oak Island. We made it 2 miles out to a reef and pulled in a couple fish before I got sick and we decided to stay in the Intercoastal Waterway. There we caught countless croakers, sharks, spadefish, oysterfish, and whiting.
  12. He's a dumb, made up character whom people blame their spending habits on. I'm probably one of the few people on BR that thinks that he is a stupid fictional character. Just my .02c What a BUZZKILL!!!

Yeah, I fish from shore. It's that that big. Did you notice the coloration compared to the water? This pond usually stays muddy so the fish stays a lighter color.
  14. Hmmm.... Around here its completely opposite. Muddy water prevents light penetration, which keeps the fish a lighter color. Clear water lets the sun through which darkens the backs of the fish. That's why the bellies are white.
  15. I'm with you 100%.
  16. Corona and Lime, now that's what I'm talking about! Cinco De Mayo? Lol I may be able to make several days this year. My exams end the 5th.
  17. Welcome! Looks like you found the smiley button nicely! ;D
  18. Howdy from Boone! Where abouts are you from?
  19. That's AWESOME!
  20. THANK YOU! To me it made the line worse unless you re-applied it every 5 minutes. Not using it at all saves A LOT of trouble.

I know 3 people off the top of my head that have gotten caught and fined from using Lime Wire. That's an extremely easy way to sign up for loads of viruses too.

I never have any success in muddy water, but I went out with for a while anyway. I threw a 10' Powerworm for about an hour without a bite, but caught this one on a first cast with a Cavitron Buzzbait. This was my only fish in about 2 hours of fishing. Somehow my scale got switched over to kilograms, so we were puzzled when it showed the fish weighing 2.60. That converts to about 5 lbs 11 ozs. Anyway, here it is...
  23. Did you go to Tools>Options>Security>Passwords? Even if that didn't work there are add ons straight from the Mozilla website that will remember your passwords. I really like Google Chrome. Very simple and easy to use. I would use it if not for a game I play online.
