  1. I personally have never seen such a thing.
  2. Oh snap! Those are sweet, but no baitcasters??
  3. Ohh! That makes a whole lot more sense. I was born and raised country myself, and I'll be the first to admit people can come up with some crazy stuff! I've practically grown up in and around ticks. I've never had one I couldn't get off with my fingers. (You'll find the ones that swell up like grapes are the easiest ;D) This should help you, it's straight from the "OFF!" website. If you find a tick, use a pair of tweezers to grasp the tick's head as close to the skin as possible (without crushing it) and pull it directly out. Do not remove ticks with petroleum jelly or hot objects, such as matches or cigarettes. These methods can increase the chance of a host tick injecting you with dangerous bacteria. http://www.offprotects.com/lyme-disease/
  4. Where's the challenge in that? : There's not! To each his own! ;D
  5. I always wear long pants when I fish. For those speaking of "burning the ticks off", you burn the ticks AFTER you pull them off. I have never heard of anyone burning them right off their skin. That seems like a no brainer to me. :-?
  6. In your estimation, how much more of a reel is it? 8-) This is how much LESS of a reel it is.... Shimano Citica 9.9 oz $119.99 Diawa Steez 5.5 oz $449.95
  7. You would think the bed would rot off before the frame went. Like the Toyota's used to. It's also amazing because my neighbor tows his Ranger (boat) with his Ranger (truck). I might have to leave a note on his truck about this. On Tins truck it broke right behind the leaf spring shackles. I have a '98 F150 and the frame still looks brand new. 134,000 miles. Must just be the rangers. Ya'll shouldn't give up on Fords yet. We have an 86' F250 farm truck still running strong. I know the frame and what-not is different, but pulling a boat would be nothing compared to what it has towed in the past. Of course it doesn't outrun the Duramax, but it runs!
  8. A nicer reel won't catch fish for you, but it will make it easier and smoother. I look at it this way... You could drive a BMW to work every day, or you could drive a 1980 Pinto. Either way you are more than likely going to get to work. (As long as you know how to drive... {a.k.a fish}) But how you get there will be different. (Faster, smoother, nicer luxaries, etc....)
  9. I think it's harder to do with frogs because of the shape, but getting in a good rhythm and keeping the right amount of slack in your line is key.
  10. I would laugh my butt off watching somebody try to reel above water with head underwater watching the bait, with goggles on. Why not just watch it from above? ;D That's a real fisherman right there!
  11. I agree. That's about what I got from the website. Red disappears faster than any other color, but it doesn't show clear! Hmm... http://www.cajunline.com/technology.html
  12. I think it takes like 12 feet for red to disappear.
  13. Nice fish dude!
  14. Okay gotcha! Just being nosey! 8-)

  21. Your post just confused me pretty bad... Buuuut, UNC will be traveling to Omaha for the 3rd year in a row. Go Heels! EDIT: Okay, I just now got the touchdown reference to the 21 runs scored. Nevermind!
