  3. ahh a perspective i have never seen nor tried..hmm awesome thanks I agree. good post roadwarrior
  4. I'd recommend fishing on the slower side of things. If there is a massive change in water clarity then the fish are more likely to become inactive. On a positive note, the fish will position on shallow cover like everyone has said. You can also take their word on lure selection too Mottfia

  11. Depends! For that cost it can't be too awesome BUT you can catch fish on a rod and reel with any price. I fished with some pretty cheap stuff throughout the years and they did just fine. Can you give us some more detail on what it is? Like the action of the rod and what type of reel it is? Mottfia
  12. Honestly I don't pay much attention to what THEY don't use much anymore. On the local level there are great anglers that know that they can catch fish with a specific lure or style no matter what the pros are scoring on. And they do consistently! It has alot to do with their confidence. But I'm sure the older guys can go into better detail about lures that have faded anmd one's that still produce Mottfia
  13. Bass Fillets are DELICIOUS
  14. Great Post. Most people don't think about that too often. I have no problem with two piece rods ( cept when they come apart and I have half a rod in my hand and the other out there with my lure lol 8-)) but a one piece definitely gives you a feel advantage.
  15. Welcome Iceman. hope you enjoy the road trip :-/...wish I could go :'( Mottfia

Down here Buzzbaits are a ticket to catching some amazing stringers. Tho there are alot of brands of buzzbaits, I am a fan of Lunker Lure. Black, White, and Chartreuse are my favorite colors....shot I can't even say that I know that they make other colors : I personally don't use trailers but I know a number of people that do. The deciding factor is the speed that you want the lure to be moving. Fast fishermen like me go without but guys that like the slower side of things will find a trailer right up their alley. They really allow you to slow the lure down to insanely slow speeds.
  23. That's a pretty cool thing to do Mottfia
