Elite Series in March?
All I can say is that I hope somebody finds a big enough school of fish or a good enough pattern that will hold up for 7 days straight.

UFC 81
Mir took some punishment from Lesnar, its a good thing the ref separated them when Lesnar got the point taken away or else Mir might have gotten a full beatdown. The knee bar was tight though, Mir is great on the ground....cant take that away from him. Lesnar will only get better with each fight. I'm glad Nogueria whooped Tim Sylvia, maybe now he'll just fade away.

Revo Premier
Wow, the 3 I have are issue free. So far, I feel like they are the best reels I've ever owned.

Opinions on two reels needed, please
If you want to save a little money in case you don't "take" to crankbaitin' like some of us, take a look at the Browning Silaflex fiberglass rods at BPS. They are great crankin' rods in my opinion (I'm a big fiberglass fan) and are only $35 bucks a pop.

I can. Its sorta like a mountain bike, when going up a hill, you put it in the gear that won't tire you out as fast, but will still climb the hill. The lower gear ratio makes the deep cranks easier to fish.......in my opinion, of course. Try one, if you don't like it, sell it and get the 5.2:1.

If you're planning to dedicate one whole set-up for deep crankin', I'd get the 4.7:1. Thats just my personal preference though....the lower gear ratio has more power and takes away some of the resistance created by the deep cranks. For mid depth cranks, I use a 5.4:1 and for shallow cranks I use 5.4 and 6.2.

This is straight from the BPS website....it will answer a few of your questions "The first word out of our Product Development Manager's mouth: ''This reel casts a honkin' mile!'' The pros, customers, everybody -- they can't get over how far they can put their lure; it'll outcast any other reel! The reason? This reel has a taller, slightly heavier spool and a consistently narrower line angle, which generates incredible inertia on the cast -- so not only can you cast big cranks all day without undue arm strain, you can also position your boat farther from the target. The extra-long aluminum handle adds power to your crankin' stroke, giving you the leverage to horse that lunker in from a distance. And we've designed a powerful new drag system which produces up to 10 lbs. of drag pressure. Machined-aluminum frame and spool; graphite side-plates; 4-bearing system with double-shielded premium stainless steel ball bearings; 6-pin centrifugal cast control. DF10HC has PowerLock instant anti-reverse; other models have dual-pawl anti-reverse." As far as durability, I still use one of the first ones they put out (beige/gold color) for deep cranks (4.7:1) and believe me, it has been put to the test....big time. I bought a new (black) one last season when they went on sale in case something happened to my old one but the new one is still in its box. I had the older one cleaned and lubed this winter and it's still silky smooth. Very good reel in my opinion.

The little S models dont really look that much like any LC's, maybe the CB200's a little bit. The other models are the ones that look like the LC Rick Clunn's and the CBD20's. (The 20 clones are in the first picture I posted, not this last batch)

Here's a few....- Xpress H2O lures....WOOOOW!!!!
Last time I looked at the Academy site, they just had pics of a few of them and no color descriptions. You really couldn't tell much. You may be able to buy them at Academy online but you'd basically be buying them blind....and hoping to get decent colors. I have a couple of online friends that have helped me out with them. You know who you are ......and thanks again! I'll try to get some pics up here shortly of a few that I have in hand. Stay tuned.- Xpress H2O lures....WOOOOW!!!!
I just got some in the mail today and they look like LC clones. The paint jobs are slick and they come with VMC trebles and oval split rings. I really hope they perform good 'cause I got a whole load of 'em on the way. We'll see, I'm going to throw them a little bit this coming weekend. Sure wish I had an Academy nearby.- Whats your favorite Lucky Craft bait?
I'm just curious what LC's everyone uses and which ones put the most fish in their boats. Mine has to be the Flat CB MR in Aurora Black....with the Flat CBD-20 running a close 2nd. Although I believe the new Skeet Mini MR will overtake both of these once the season gets going. Should be a killer.- looking into getting this kistler
I didnt like the Magnesiums too much but my LTA's are the shiznit! - Xpress H2O lures....WOOOOW!!!!
