ATTRACTANTS
I use BANG spray......and if the YUM attractants didnt turn my baits different colors (especially skirts) I'd use them more often.

Bass-Mounting?
I would suggest working the clubs first. If meeting women is tough in high expectation places like the clubs, try the super market. I've found a couple keepers in the frozen foods aisle. No Bass should ever have to go through that. .......are you bored LBH?

Bass-Mounting?
I have talked with people who have had some fiberglass replicas made and from what I hear about them,if you send it to be done by a high volume reproduction company, you will most likely get a generic paint job which looks nothing like the actual fish you caught.Case in point,my uncle who lives in Tampa has had 4 bass fiberglassed by BPS and they all look exactly alike.....of course the sizes are a little varied but the paint jobs are identical on all 4 fish. Whatever way you choose,do your homework and ask lots of questions.

long night- friend in trouble
Glad to hear everything turned out ok.The ocean takes no prisoners on its bad days and thats the exact reason that I dont leave the beach. You gotta be one brave "you know what" to be on the ocean for a living.

What Makes Lucky Craft Worth The Extra $$ ?
The Natural is right.....some days you can flat out wax 'em with a LC but the next day they wont even look at one.Lucky Craft baits are over-priced in my opinion but I think everyone should own a few and make their own decisions about them.....You can always sell the ones you dont like on eBay.They sell real well, even used ones.

What does "confidence" in fishing mean to you?
I rely on confidence to keep me going during tough times on the water.I am confident that I have enough info logged in my head that I can get bit no matter what happens during my trip.It may be only one bite, but its a bite.If I'm not confident that I will put some fish in the boat,I shouldnt be there.Having confidence in a certain bait or certain area is good but having confidence in yourself is most important. There are times that I come home without having hooked up but thats okay,I know the fish are still there and I'm confident they'll grow a little bit before I get back on the water.

Hooks for wacky Senko?
Gamakatsu Finesse Wide Gap WEEDLESS hooks......a little on the pricey side but well worth it,especially if you're fishing around any type of cover.

High Tech vs. Low Tech, my last tournament
High tech vs. low tech? It sounds like it was high tech vs. high tech....you just didnt run as far as everyone else. Lots of tournaments are won fishing at or near marinas, happens all the time. Good job!

Great deal on jigs and soft plastics.
Got my order today, order was placed on the 16th.Not bad from Cali to Va. The DT Hula grubs arent quite as thick as I like 'em but they'll do.Jigs look good, salt stix are quite firm.....I'm going to fill the bags with some Lunker Sauce and see if that helps 'em out at all.At those prices,I'm satisfied with everything I got.

What reel speed for deep heavy jig casting reel?
I use a high speed reel with anything except my deep diving cranks. The high speed reels enable you to gain line faster (obviously) and get your lures back in quicker for the next cast.I'd at least get a 6.3:1 or even one of the new geared burner reels (7.1:1).I'm planning to buy a fleet of the new Revo's in the spring and at least 2 of them will be the 7.1 ratio.

Dad's Bday, Abu's Revo STX or Shimano Curado??

UFC 65 ......Hughes vs. St.Pierre
Well,GSP took out Hughes early in the second......would've been over in the first but Hughes was saved by the bell.In the second round,GSP landed a kick to the head which put Hughes on the mat, then GSP jumped on him and finished him off,Big John stopped the fight.Hughes didnt know that it was a kick that put him down until he saw it on the big screens after the fight was over.Congrats to GSP,he proved he was the better fighter tonight. It's not clear who GSP will fight next but Hughes vs. GSP III shouldnt be too far off. Sylvia beat Monson to retain his Heavyweight belt and even showed that he has found a little bit of a ground game.Monson finally got him down on the mat and just couldnt do anything with it......Sylvia has obviously been working on the ground game.He will fight Brandon Vera next.Vera TKO'd Frank Mir tonight in one of the early fights.

What fishing tackle is on your Christmas list?
It's almost that time, what is everyone wanting for Christmas? The wife said for me to go to the BPS website and fill up a cart with things I'd like to have and she'll go thru it and randomly pick some things to get for me.I told her that was the best idea I've heard all day. Lets see some wish lists.

recommendations on flipping outfit
Pitching you are reeling the bait in after each cast Flipping you are just working the line, not the reel

James River in the rain
I'd definitely have a Pointer 78 close by......it has a way of getting tight lipped fish in the boat and with water temps falling it may just get you the bites you need to win.Regardless.....bundle up,stay dry, good luck and let us know what happens.

recommendations on flipping outfit
Abu also sells a reel at Wal Mart that is a low profile model (1003lp) and is about $48 bucks. Its a solid reel and the low profile reels in my opinion are more comfortable than a round reel for all day flippin'. As for flippin' rods,I suggest a heavy action,7'6"......and I'd agree with flech or Ronnie either one,the Quantums or the All Star Classics will do just fine.

Bo Schembechler has passed away today.

Dumping Christmas Trees
If I am sinking xmas trees out deep on points or sinking a few together in the same spot I will have them standing.Any time I sink one by itself on a flat or in shallower water I lay it down. I always hear people say the things about the pine needles and this and that but evidently the fish around here dont listen to all that stuff. The trees I sink are always in the water for 3-4 months before I even mess with fishing them and I cant tell that the needles or chemicals are a factor.

Great deal on jigs and soft plastics.
Those are some smokin' prices! Best price I've ever seen on DT Spider Jigs.....ordered quite a few 60 bags.
