  1. The best I can give you is work lizards in prespawn areas. Its been working for me. Just crawl and hop them on the bottom. Good luck
  2. Thinking about making a trip to a small natural lake in PA. Water temp is 52 degrees. If I dont get there this weekend will the water have gone over sixty by next saturday? Supposed to be in the sixtys or warmer every day this coming week. Hope it doesnt go over 60 before I get there.
  3. The shallow ponds that I fish have bigger bass too. I catch most of my fish in the deeper parts. Try different lures and techniques where you think it is deep.
  4. I bet you cant wait!
  5. Definetly the Bill Lewis Rat-L-Trap in 1/2 and 1/4 oz. I have a variety of colors to match different forage and water conditions.
  6. I love that show!
  7. Nice ill pass to. Allready have to do that to much in school.
  8. I think any soft plastic for me. Senko, trick worm, tube, lizard, there all good.
  9. Hey guys, was wondering what you think about a senko for flipping and pitching. Its pretty heavy when its rigged weightless, slips through weeds easily, and has a good fall rate. What would you rate a senko for flipping and pitching on dead calm days?
  10. Nice im sure to give it a try.
  11. Thanks Bassnbrett, I believe Bay/Lake its on fathers day with the Presque Isle Bassmasters.
  12. I keep a log and journal of each pond or lake, everytime I fish it.
  13. Great day, sweet pics my friend!
  14. Im all low profile, Shimano and Abu Garcia!
  15. Hey guys, Im going to be entering a tournament at Erie on June 15. Anyone have a guess of what stage the fish will be in? I was thinking post-spawn. Any quick guesses? Thanks
  16. Hey guys, wanted to share this with you. Really neat bassmaster video. Check it out:
  17. Hey guys, got a few questions on lizards. I have had luck on lizards (Yum 4' Lizard) in NC where there is a good amount of them(live lizards). For my first trip out during the spawn and prespawn, is a lizard a good idea for lakes in Pennsylvania? We dont have lizards, just a few salamanders. Will a bass automatically notice that it is a egg hunting predator, or will it just look at it and wonder what it is? Sounds funny but im just not sure what plastic baits to use on this trip. I have caught a few bass in ponds in PA on lizards but just unsure of using a lizard. Other than a lizard, what are some good soft plastic baits for spring? Thanks everyone
  18. Love the last picture too. Nice fish!
  19. Can you give me a website so I can look at it, if not some info. Do they have open tournaments where you can just fish one to get some experience and to see if you like it? Thanks
  20. I fish it weightless, wacky (a little light for a wacky worm), and it looks good for a shaky head.
  21. Thats what I thought, that they may be soaking up the sun! I see bass do this all the time and it is very frustrating since they could careless about eating.
  22. Hey everybody, I need some help on youth tournaments. I am 13, live in PA and want to fish a tournament or two this year. I looked at a list of all the clubs in Pennsylvania and saw a few youth events but not much that came out and said "Youth Tournaments". I am only going by the clubs websites so I may not be getting everything. Does anyone know of any clubs or is in a club in Western PA with any good Youth Tournaments. Thanks for any info
  23. Best Frogs in the World!!!
