  1. Nice Fish!!! What did he catch it on?
  2. It depend on how aggresive the fish are, but it will definetly be a topwater bait of some sort. If they seem to be aggresive then go with a spook or buzzbait. If they seem to be a little more weary, go with a popper or prop bait. Just experiment with different topwaters and remember early and late will be your best bet.
  3. One of the best techniques for submerged pine trees is to tick and bounce square billed crankbaits off of them for reaction and aggresion strikes. Find where the trees are then hit them with different casts to all angles. When you fell it tick of off the branches, let it float up for a split second then try to vary your retrieves after that to see what works. Also use your confidence soft plastics on beds, in shallow cover, and around the trees. The crankbait technique is great for prespawn and post spawn because they will relate to them. Good luck, let us know how you do.
  4. O man its always plastics. Any where any time but if I need to cover water I opt for a buzz frog, crankbait or c rig. But always plastics in any season and condition.
  5. Hey guys, not sure if it could be postspawn yet. I live in PA and have noticed some abandoned beds in ponds and wondered if it could be post spawn already. Its been warm but dont know if the ponds are really in post spawn yet. We did have a big cold front and low pressure system with some storms that may have pushed them off. Some of the smaller lakes have just started to spawn. I just started to see a couple big females on beds. The bass in ponds have been spawning for about two weeks now. Could these bass be in post spawn and if not what stage. Thanks everyone
  6. Well sir that is not much of a problem. The only bad thing is if all the bream go. With big bass in the pond they have the ability to eat bigger bream. Just as long there is enough bream in it it will balance out eventually.

One bait- and only one. What bait or lure would you flip and pitch with. Your all time favorite flipping and pitching bait, what is it. Come on, give it up.
  8. Never tried them but they look great.
  9. I dont rip jerkbaits as much as ratltraps. But once in a while jerkbaits and crankbaits have been good to rip and bounce off cover for reaction strikes.

  14. What is the worst thing that you have accidentally done to a reel? I think the worst thing I have done is probobly spilled a can of Sprite on one of my baitcasters. Remarkebly, I washed it off as soon as this happened and it still works just as well as all my other ones. So what did you do?
  15. What is the wildest living thing you have seen a bass eat? I think for me it has to be a chipmunk.
