Hey guys, quick question. What knot do you use for a drop shot? Thanks
  5. To find out if you have big bass then catch a bluegill, and put it in the water and let it swim around(still on your line of course). This will bring the biggest bass in the pond up. They let off distress noises and it brings up the biggest bass. Catching them require big baits and after that it is just a matter of getting the bait infront of the bass. Try it youll be happy to see the big ones i promise! You will find the biggest and most dominate bass in the entire pond!
  6. What do you think?
  7. Hey guys, pollen and different seeds from trees have been covering the ponds. Should I fish in the pollen or out of it. Its covering about half the pond. What are some good lures and ways to fish these lines and edges of this stuff? Thanks guys

  11. Best and only worms I use. I like the moccasin color t rigged. Any where in the summer. Great worm
  12. By far watermelon/red flake. I always thought that black would be good too because the bigger salamanders around here are black.
  13. Hey guys, Ive got the ultimate pond to try to catch bass. The man who owns it is a perfectionist. His pond is crystal clear blue water, clean enough to drink from. The water is so perfect they found an unknown species of freshwater jellyfish that appear every august. The pond has palimino trout, largemouth, bluegill and a few catfish. It is pretty rocky, meaning layered with gravel. Pretty deep, about 20- 30 feet deep, and is a couple of acres big. He feeds the fish with food pellets. It takes alot of the feeding insticts and aggressiveness out of the bass. I have put alot of thought to it and have tried to think of new techniques to catch these bass. I have caught them on ribbontail worms and trick worms before. Im gonna try a dropshot rig, swimbait, and a fluke for the more aggressive bass. They are some of the more realistic baits and thought they would be best. Any tips of advice would be great, thanks everyone.
  14. Sounds pretty good, all you need to do is vary your retrieves. A fluke is definetly not the bait I will pick up in the wind though. Its best in slight breezes but not in gusts.

Nice pictures and fish. But dont set them on the ground, I know its the easiest way to measure but it is not good for the bass. But great fish!
  16. A 3.5 inch Brown Crawfish tube with a 1/0 Gammy G-Lock worm hook.
  17. Color is most important to match forage and the water conditions.
  18. That there is a beauty! It's a good thing you covered the background in that pic. You definitely wouldn't want anyone to know where you're pullin' hawgs like that out of . ;D Yeah ;D
  19. Nice one bud!
