  1. Never tried the braid but the regular elite line is great. I wouldnt use the stren if i were you, i dont like their line.
  2. The fish should move up to spawn any time soon(lay eggs) so fish the banks or large flats with cover on them. Stumps, logs, weeds, rocks, ect. Fish in 10 to 2 feet of water approx. Use slow presentations with any baits that allow you to do this. If you have any questions click on my name and send me a message.
  3. O man you use mepps, use a spinnerbait not a semi-trout lure.
  4. I hate Charlie Moore. > He so stupid, he cant catch fish worth crap and and his show stinks. The guy uses trout and inline spinners, he needs to try some real bass baits.

  6. Look through Bass Pro Shops. They have some real nice ones. I got mine from Cabelas for 50$ and they help so much. You really dont need to spend 100 but if thats what you want it cant hurt anything buy your wallet.

  11. Starting, its been ready for weeks just like me. I cant wait to get out there so im doing everything i can that has to do with bass fishing like readying my tacklebox, cleaning reels, reading articles magizines and books on bassing, watching tv shows and been on websites like this one.
  12. Probobly a jig, C-rig, or a crankbait.

  14. I love frogs. I dont start throwing them till probobly post spawn but you never know how it might turn out during the spawn. There great big bass catchers so give them a try.
  15. Do you guys change line when the new year starts. Im just going to be fishing ponds the next few weeks and was wondering if it would be worth changing it. Thanks
  16. Personally id try the smallies but im in pittsburgh and it will be probobly about 3 weeks before i will try on some of my favorite lake. To make my addiction feel better i get to go down to north carolina to do some pond fishing then when i come back i will fish some ponds up in pittsburgh then start lake fishing in mid april.

  18. Yeah im going to a pond in nc with a friend with lots of bass and this will be during the spawn so i wanted to give a baby bass type bait a try.

  20. Definetly Bill Lewis Rat-L-Traps. Great lures in many colors.

  23. You here about the color red to be great and look like a wounded baitfish but then you here about how red line dissapears. What is the case with that? Does red really look like blood and is it a good color for lures(i think so).
  24. Im gonna be fishing some ponds in nc and saw that Lake normans water temperature was about 54. If thats the case, in about one week what would be a good guess of the temperature in the local ponds? Thanks
