I have never fished with these because i had didnt think fish would like them, but i had one in my box and it caught me 5 bass in the matter of 15 minutes, so i am just wondering what is your favorite creature bait?

I strongly disagree, i recently bought 30# fireline crystyl and it is the worst braid i have ever used. It has memory and if you bend it, it remains creased. This might just be because i got such heavy pound test but i would defiantly lean towards a suffix when looking at braid. however i did like the 8# fireline, it handled well, but made some noise in the rod guides that was annoying.

I am on kind of a tight budget, and would only like to purchase one rod, but i am unsure what size and action that would best suit all types of bait. i mostly fish with crankbaits and soft plastics but occasionally ill flip and pitch. so what would be the best size rod and action to work well with all of these?

i just purchased that same reel and i am thinking of putting suffix 20# braid on it
