  1. Thanks guys! now ill just have to get some money and purchase a plethora of spinnerbaits.
  2. Just starting to use spinnerbaits and wanted to see what is the most trusted brand regarding spinnerbaits, also what seems to be the most productive color in say semi clear water with semi heavy weed cover. -Thanks
  3. How should i go about to find people who would be interested?
  4. I wish i was, maybe when I am an upperclassman ill try to start a fishing team at my school.
  5. Very manageable and I have alot of trust in it.
  6. Well back when i was little i would open lead split shots using my teeth and then often let it sit in my mouth till i had to re apply. Didn't do too much to me
  7. June, with a white coffee tube texas rigged with 1/8th ounce bullet weight
  8. Rochester NY, from irondequoit just joined rochester bassmasters and plan to fish there point tournaments this year
  9. I used braid for fishing with senko style bait and it didnt seem to hinder it at all. Also i have used it in clear water for dragging big worms along the bottom and it also worked fine. So no leader for me.
  10. I have pretty much just bought the type that had good reviews and good specs, also a good price helps persuade my decision. Like when the quantum tour editions went on sale last year for 100, i bought two. But if i find another reel with high quality for a low price it doesnt really matter the brand to me. Im sure people have better expierence with certain brands or how the customer service is for that brand, and thats why the stick with that one kind. Its a confidence thing.
  11. I've used them quite a bit, worked great for fishing on beds. My friend was using a different brand and i out fished him 3 to 1. They last long and the coffee scent sticks with them, great for t-rigging.
  12. My monkey bit me so bad in the last two months i have recieved $30 back in Dicks reward club membership... $1 for every point.. 300 points for every $10 back... so as i was looking at this i realized wow $900 really? :-?
  13. x2 Gotta love the possibilities though!
  14. I love to ice fish, just went out today caught a bunch of nice perch and even pulled a 2lb bass out of the hole! made my day/winter
  15. I was wondering how you take off the side plate on the Revo s? I want to clean it up a bit. thanks
  16. Well for your price range a BPS Extreme reel and BPS Crankin' Stick would work, the Crankin' stick is on sale right now for $40 and the Extreme reel is $65.
  17. Well the thing is i bought it for a hundred, and my brother got a bass pro gift card and would buy a new reel so i was thinking of giving him mine and taking the new citica.
  18. I'm looking at making a trade, my Tour Edition PT for a Citica E. Do you think it would be a good or bad trade, the tour edition is more expensive so im not quite sure if i should do it. And i know this site loves Shimano so im going to take a guess that everyone is going to say make the trade.
  19. well other than just looking at my tackle and reading articles, i try to go ice fishing but lately ice hasnt been thick enough to walk on :-/ but still thick enough not to be able to take a cast. Yeah it stinks o well
  20. Ok so i recently purchased two quantum tour edition pts and i love them (Nothing has gone wrong on them), but they are my first high end baitcasters. i hear so much good stuff about shimano on these forums so i wanna see what they feel like and how they work. I got $100 from my uncle and was thinking of getting a new reel and i wanna try shimano, any suggestions on which reel to get, also i prefer the left hand versions so if it doesnt come in that then it can be ruled out. thanks for the help i just wanna see how good these shimanos really are.
  21. I have never used them before, but i've heard great things. I bought a bunch a few weeks ago and i was just wondering what type of line/rod size and power would you typically use to fish a jigging spoon?
  22. For 7' M spinning rod i would do a finesse, like shaky head with 6-10lb fluorocarbon, depending on where you'll fish it. And the 6' 6" M baitcast combo i would use 10-12lb mono and use it for a crankin' rod. And for spinning 6' 6" mh, i have the same setup and i use that to wacky worm, with 6lb fluorocarbon.
