New Big O Jig Colors!!!
Here is our latest jig line. We have completely revamped the Big O series with all new colors. Every one of these jigs has been designed to match Rage Tail Lobsters and Craws. This does not mean they do not work extremely well or match other brands of trailers or chunks. The Big O Jig is available in 15 new colors. The Big O Jig is built for duribility. Starting with an Owner XXX strong round bend hook and a heavy weedgaurd. For more action and life like movements the skirt is a wire tied 66 strand skirt. http://www.siebertoutdoors.com/index.php/big-o-jig Here are a few pictures: Falcon Lake Craw Okeechobee Bama Bug Blue Craw

Does Anyone Fish Grubs Anymore?
I sure do. 4" Grubs in green pumpkin variant on a shaky head. If the bite is tough and the bass wont hit a jig this little set up is a fail safe for me.

Commiting To The Jig This Year....
There are several types for those. I use the mushroom ones that lock in. They also make one that has a hook on it that hooks into the little collars instead of the mushroom head. For me, if the water isnt muddy I probably wouldnt mess with it.

Jig Help
Agreed, For me jig fishing is almost all feel. A log will feel different then a branch. Grass is different then rock or mix any of them up however. They all have a certain feel to them. It takes time and patience to learn this. I hold the rod/reel by palming the reel with my finger under the line. This helps me feel what is going on down under the water. Make sure to move your finger before a hook set. OUCH! The best advice I can give is to go fish a spot of certain structure. Then notice the patterns and how it feels. Once you become familiar with that pattern, move to a different type of structure. When I'm fishing a jig through brush you can feel the jig up over a branch and then should expect the fall.and feel the next branch. If this does not happen you better set the hook. You will learn the patterns and feel over time. Obviously every brush pile or tree is different but you will learn the feel. After fishing the brush for awhile move to rock. Feel the jig through the rocks. Learn the feel of the jig. Then go back to the trees. Notice the difference in the type of hit off the rock to tree. A good rod/line will show you different types of feel from the impacts the jig makes. Learning this feel with catch you more fish and save you jigs from the Tree bass.

Most Bass Caught In A Day?
Lake St Clair last year it was insane. Every cast we would catch 1-2 whites depending on lure used. I'd guess we boated around 200.

What's Your Shakeyhead Gear
I bought a new Legend Xtreme a few weeks ago in the 7'6" spinning rod. That rod is awesome. I put a Sustain on it with 8lb flouro. Its better then the Loomis BSR I had.
