I would throw a Football head or a Brush head jig in a brown, green, or mix of the two color.

I use a .308 win. I've done all the magnum stuff, I do not need it. Ammo is cheap and it knocks them down quick.

Its a heavy duty hook that is for sure. Its made for hauling fish out of the grass. I'll have some actual jig pictures soon. Thanks!

I have just updated my site with two new heads. I have updated the football heads with Mustad Ultra Point hooks to all Flat Eyed hooks, approximate 55 strand skirt for a fuller body, and I have also up-sized the 1/2oz to a 5/0 hook instead of a 4/0 hook for better performance. I would seriously doubt that they would. Skirt making supplies is more of a specialty item that the big shops usually dont have. I've never seen it in any of those. BPS one time years ago, but their material was horrible.

That top one looks like a 1/4 maybe 3/8. Bottom I'd say is 3/8 going of standard hand size. Nope they dont look too bushy to me. Put a trailer on them and fish away.
