  1. Very Nice Big M.
  2. Glenn, I emailed you a ton of pictures earlier.
  3. Thats what I'm looking for. Big momma smallies! I'm hoping for 50-60# days. Couple years ago that was a slow day for us. We will see what happens. I'm shopping for tubes right now since I only have about 3 dozen different kinds. LOL
  4. Thanks! I'm hoping that pattern holds and possible the fish move up a tad more. Which I think they will with Detroits weather forecast for the next 10 days. Any idea what the water temp was? Kens Marina huh? I've never been there but if I can find it I'll check it out. Thats about the same area I'm going to fish. I'll probably run down into the river a tad too if I want to for walleye but thats a completely different idea and depends on the smallies. What ramp do you use?
  5. Can you post up a picture of your mounting spot and also your location of your standard transducer?
  6. If its warm I have a pair of Lacrosse rubber boots. Cold I use a pair of Danner hunting boots that are gore tex. If its really warm I wear sandles.
  7. Owner here also. I have alot of different brands but right now I'm slowly replacing everything with Owners.
  8. I'm heading that way next week and needing some info on the lake of whats going on moslty around the St Clair shores area but anywhere in US waters will be helpful. Thanks!!
  9. I dont really worry about line strength its more about keeping the hook from tearing from the fishes mouth. I let the fish play and keep it from jumping as much as possible.
  10. This goes along with every trip I've ever went on. I went to Cozumel diving, hurricane/Tropical storm hit. All fishing trips seem to be similiar. I'm just use to it.
  11. I need to get you those pictures Glenn.
  12. I do not use a leader either. I do fish flourocarbon line though. The only time I use steel is when I'm targeting musky/pike. I do lose some lures but I noticed when I threw baits on steel leaders my catch ratio went down.
  13. Ouch! That sounds like something I would do. Nothing worse then losing big fish. I've had a few 843's. I still have one. Most of mine are BCR's now but I doubt I give up that 843 anytime soon.
  14. I bet he is at Falcon Lake. Nice fish Big O!
  15. Thats a nice smallie congrats!
  16. That rod is one of the all time best rods ever made imo.
  17. Nice fish! Thanks for sharing.
  18. Jeff, it was a blast fishing with you. I just wish we could have caught more. That was an extremely rough day! Great report.
  19. It sure was a great time! I'm ready for next year. I'm working on getting the pictures for my report. Great report Jeff
  20. Wow, Nice smallie. Congrats.
