  1. I'm back also. What a great trip. I made some new friends and met up with friends I made last year. It was good to put faces with the members that I had not met yet from last year. I had alot of fun fishing with the ones I got a chance too. I will post up some pictures later.
  2. Go to the 60 deg mold like smalljaw67 states.
  3. Your not going to let me forget those posts are you? LOL I should be arriving around noon Saturday. Leaving about 5am tomorrow.
  4. License are printed, boat packed, few things left to do. Approx 20 hrs till go time.
  5. I have 2 blue tops that are older. They work great. I dont know about the charger though.
  6. Congrats! Nice fish.
  7. Wow, Sounds like a great trip!
  8. You sir, are lucky. 2 yrs ago I was fishing out by the fire cracker and a storm rolled in. My T motor seemed to spend more time out of the water then in.
  9. Sustain 2500, 2 of them. I'm pretty sure I have a spool in the basement.
  10. Thats pretty cool Kent. I wish I wouldnt have respooled my reels I'd like to try some of the 6lb. I'll see if I can find an extra spool for my spinning reel. I also just checked the weather. They changed the forcast. Looks a little better then it did.
  11. Same here I just crank slower. For me its alot easier to slow down then to speed up.
  12. I believe mine is 45". I wish I would have went with the 52" for the reasons JFrancho mentioned. If you dont fish rough water there is no need for the 52 on a bass boat unless you have some type of crazy built bow.
  13. Sounds like fun. On a serious note I will have a couple rods for sale if anyone is interested. On is a Browning rod and one is a GLX MBR 843. If your interested hit me up down on the lake.
  14. Front. I only adjust the drag for the lb line I'm using then never touch it. I also believe front drag is smoother.
  15. Agreed! I'm bringing the one I have. Someone will have to show me how to fish it or rig it.
  16. LOL Kent. I'm doing the same thing. Most locations seem to be new grass too or shad spawn locations. Usually grass also in that lake from what I'm learning.
  17. Great Pics. Thanks for sharing.
  18. Almost everything I buy is online anymore. Biggest reason is what you stated Tom and cost. I do not have the time to run to a few stores looking for a part or certain lure. With gas as expensive as it is I'd rather pay 5 dollars to ship me something then spend 10-15 in fuel. Other issue is most of the stuff I use no one local carries or will.
  19. I still fish quite a few of them. Most of the time I will throw a 2" chunk on a finesse jig when I fish them.
