  1. Here are my latest. The pic doesnt do these baits justice. They are 100x's cooler in person. My buddy was taking pics of them the other day he liked them so much.
  2. Yeah that seems to be my problem too. ;D Keep us updated. Best I've ever done is 24. Never shot a 25. I've only shot skeet and trap about 10 times though.
  3. The weak dollar is one thing making everything get so expensive.
  4. Cool, Good luck and shoot them all down. No misses!
  5. that is one sweet looking lure.
  6. Try guns america. Its like gunbroker. Probably wont beat that blow out price though. Sounds pretty good.
  7. Thanks for making that rod for me for my birthday. That was very nice of you. LOL Very nice Fletch
  8. There are alot of good ones out there. I make all of mine though.
  9. IMO there is alot of truth there. I've fished several frogs and my favorite is the bronzeye. But I've found what really increased my hookups wasnt the frog it was the rod, line, and me.
  10. Well I've been in need of a place to keep all my rods organized. So I headed down to the old tackle shop to find a wood rod holder. Well I found one for the right price too. I got a Pflueger rod rack for free. Yeah it looks a little odd saying Pflueger with a bunch of loomis and shimano stuff on it but its a very nice rod rack. So now I own something of Pfluegers.
  11. Here in MO we have some places that are single hook only areas and artificial areas only. I'm betting the Officer is correct. In areas that they have single hook rules they patrol very heavily because they know most will not read the regulations. This is the same about lake fishing. You are more likely to get checked bank or dock fishing then from a boat. Why? Most people that do not buy a license fish from the bank. Yes its proven and that was straight from a conservation officer I know.
  12. That is a dandy for sure.
  13. I agree with harshman 100%. But I fish my seconds. Build your own fluid bed. Cost about 15-20 bucks. It wont be perfect but It works very good.
  14. very cool Big M
  15. Why do you use brown on that head if you dont like it? Just get some white or something. Powder paint is a whole lot better then epoxy I think. That other stuff takes too long and is a pain. PP is the way to go and is fast.
  16. There are goods and bads on either one. Renting you can pretty much just walk away when you want. (within contract) but unlike owning a place you will not ever get any of your money back. I'm one that is against renting. But I do see why people do it. I just cant throw my money away like that and never build anything with it. I'd rather know when I sell my house I will be coming out ahead. I looked at my ameritization statement on my house loan. The first 10yrs approx is all intrest. If you can make additional payments say 100 a month this will save you tons of cash. A loan for approx 80k at about 6% will cost you 100k over 30 years. By making that simple extra payment It will save you 1ks plus cut your loan time. The way I've always viewed it is I want something back out of what I'm paying out. The way I am I can not just pay for something knowing it will never have value once I walk out. Its just not me.
  17. I was thinking the same thing... even not considering the chemical aspect of it, dry ice is so cold it could permanently damage or kill the fish. Not to mention the chance of instant frost bite when it touches you. I wouldnt think it would last long at all. Especially when it hits water. ITS NOT WORTH IT.
  18. I agree Catt. The bulkier trailer helps more and you can cast/pitch better. I very very rarely throw anything anymore less then 3/8oz. If I do its 5/16. Pretty much never 1/4. I fish 1/2ozers alot in less then 5 fow. Its just all in learning to adapt to the fish and the lure. Takes time and constant fishing of a lure.
  19. Only reason I quoted this is to get you to reread it. Very very good post and simple too. 8-) I will also agree that the Jig isnt the miracle bait. It does work most of the time but not always.
  20. very nice Big M.
  21. I do carry but not very often. Most of the time I do is when I'm fishing
  22. I dont use pork at all. None. I prefer handpoured trailers.
  23. Time out bad guy. Let me enter the combo. 10 min later ok now I'm ready. I agree Burley. Why dont they just get tazers?
