  1. I see alot of them. Almost one everytime I go fishing. Copperheads, watersnakes, watermocassins, black snakes mostly. Scariest encounter ever was trout fishing with hip boots on. Standing in water about 2" from the top of the boots a copperhead swam my direction. I figured he would see me and turn like usual. He didnt, swam through my legs, least I can say is I was scared poopless. I guess thats the only time I have ever looked down and saw a 3 ft snake between my legs.
  2. Flourocarbon line is a must imo. Natural color jigs is my preferance.
  3. These are one of my favorites. http://www.joesjigtrailers.com/ or I will use a zoom lil critter or a eakin craw.
  4. [quote author=Raul Hey Gloomisman it took me a good 2 hour typing with one finger ! :-X
  5. Wow Raul, I am speachless
  6. I dont see anything wrong with it. I do it too. That is how we stocked a pond when it was built. We went out before the spawn and caught some nice males and females and threw them in the pond. Now we have bass in there. I need to clean out the little ones though, they is getting an over abundence of them.
  7. Glad to hear everything is ok and she will still let you in the boat.

  9. Hey, Raul the ultimate tackle junky. I have a ton too, but trying to down size. I'm getting older now and it gets harder to push the wheel barrel around with all of my lures ;D
  10. I agree be honest with him, suggest that the shallow fishing hasnt been working you believe if you pull off the bank some you can catch bigger limits. Adaptation is the key to catching large fish.

  14. Here are my favorite skipping lures, that I throw around docks. chompers with chompers head fluke tube senko jewel jig. Out of all of those the fluke and senko skip the best for me.
  15. All of us have days where we practice casting, I sure have my fair share. Most of the time I can atleast catch a one-eye though.
  16. Just wondering how many of you make your own tackle. I make alot of finesse jigs, flipping jigs. also a few spinnerbaits. With custom color skirts I dream up or like to use.
  17. Like said above I go deep. I usually start by throwing a dd22 on main lake poits, carolina rig, of throw a jig. Usually works great for me.
  18. In muddy water I use a blk/blue jig with rattles, chart color crankbait, or spinnerbait.
