Use super glue gel or mend it. Either one of those will make that bait last a lot longer.

3/8-1/2 is what I sell the most of. For an overall use those two sizes will handle most of your fishing.

3/8-1/2 oz is what I throw the most in a weedless jig.

I've been throwing one on 65lb braid.

Have anyone upgraded from the Lowrance Gen 2's to the Gen 3's yet? Can you tell a difference with the chirp? Overall how do you like the Lowrance Gen 3?

10lb would be the lightest I would go.

Same thing I've always used for hooks and Split rings. I've never had the use for them on the water but I do carry a set.

For me, best all around jig I use is a 3/8 Dredge Brush jig. I fish it in just about everything until you need specific tackle like heavy weeds.

I've got that exact rod. I use it for lighter jigs, t rigs, shaky heads, small tubes, etc. It is an awesome rod. Hollow Frog? It may work but it wouldn't be my first choice. I've never fished the NRX. Only GLX's on the Loomis side. The GLX is also a great rod.
