  4. Great video. Its always awesome watching the kids get so excited over a catch. The kid has mad skills.
  5. That is a super fish! Congrats!
  6. Sorry guys, I order most of my stuff from BPS and have never had a problem. when they say it will be here it usually is. I always go to Concord for the Spring Classic. They have some great deals during that time. The sale used to only last one week. When the sale paper came out you could get everything in it that week. Now the sale is 2 weeks and the best deals on the best items are only on certain days. Like zoom 1/2 off on Monday...Mercury oil 1/2 on Tues. Now this is BS in my opinion and my only gripe with BPS. The little guys around here want a arm and a leg for their stuff. I can order it and pay shipping and still get it cheaper. Dick's has 6 small aisles......Gander Mtn is a absolute joke! We had a Sportmans Warehouse which I am truly missing right now.
  7. As everyone has stated it is very versatile. I use it mostly weightless or shakey. It is my #1 producing plastic.
  8. I used all types for a couple years. I just gave away a bunch of the other brands to the kids in the neighborhood the other day. For at least the last 5 years it has been all War Eagle's. IMO they are the best! My Dad saw them in my boat and recognized them and said they were the best 30+ years ago too.
  9. 100 DD's mostly for me
  10. Nice catch, Congrats
  11. They are happy.......the Bail Bondsman was on campus that day

  13. Congrats SWH, way to stay after it.
  14. Dude, I feel for you man. I had it happen once as well. I still remember the pain and tears streaming as I got it out. Then it was sore as fire for days after. Not real sure about the Dremel though :-? 2 of my good friends were fishing a Tuesday night tourney on SML one night seven years ago. When it was over I could not believe they were not there to weigh in. I went up into the parking lot and they were about to go to blows. I mean they were serious! They were best friends since they were kids and now they wanted to kill one another. The Tuesday nighters here are only 4 hrs long. Anyway, after about an hour of fishing one hung the other one in the back of the head with one of those Bill Dance special buzzbaits. Then they spent an hour getting it out. Then were to mad at one another to continue fishing. One was mad at being hung in the head and the other was mad because he bled all over his boat. I love to just mention this story because its been seven years and they still cuss one another like dogs over it when it gets brought up. ;D
  15. I am a die hard zoom lizard fisherman. The bite has slowed a good deal in the last 2 years but before that I used to have great success with it. I rigged it on a 1/8 or 1/16 Slider head.
  16. If where you fish has a-lot of perch, I recommend the old night crawlers and a bobber. My son is 4 and it typically takes him 2 hrs or so of catching fish before becoming bored.
  17. X2 those look awesome!
  18. Very cool.....good read. That is a moose! Congrats
  19. I just bit the Tungsten Bullet myself. I did not see where color mattered....I went with black.
  20. I usually just take January - mid February off. I use this coldest period to take care of reels, respool everything and get organized. But, if there is a warm weekend during this time....I am out there.
  21. With a spinnerbait when I have a fish slap it and I do not get a hookset I quit reeling and let it free fall. My best guess is the fish thinks it has injured it and then it comes back to get its easy meal. This works for me a great deal of the time. If not I will pitch a senko back to the general area.
