Hey Rhino, It's been 25 years but is Cook's Pond still fishable? I went to a tournament there and all anybody caught were 12" fish. It did have good access though. So. Watuppa still got those sweet smallies?

Been a while since I've fished both of those places but they are great fishing. You won't be putting the new rig in Beaver Pond. There are tons of great fishing holes around though. Oh and don't forget Ronnie at Nipmuc for repairs..He's been honest with me for 30 years.

Correct me if I'm wrong...and I'm sure you will...Vermont's rule is for lead worm weights...all attached to the line...and not lead attached to hooks. I believe they assume that birds are smart enough not to swallow hooks...Anyone...Anyone...

Guys...If you can get to the boat ramp below the falls at Otter creek in Vergennes...You won't need a boat.

Don't forget Holiday Point and Popasquash and you know it's catch and release only so bring a scale a tape and a camera and don't forget to hold on.

Don't know if the boat will be ready but I wouldn't mind meeting some people. It seems I fished that pond 20 years ago and caught mostly white perch. Things change though. I wouldn't mind being kept in the loop. Thanks

I guess us old dogs can learn new tricks...by the way...if your shoulder is sore...you're doing it wrong. Like I read from bassthumb...bend your elbow, not your shoulder and be smooth. Power, distance and accuracy come with practice.
