  1. My first was a '64 Impala 4 door with 2 speed powerslide trans. Next was a '70 Nova SS 396. Built it into a 13 second machine. Next was a '69 Cutlass Supreme with all the goodies for cruising. Then a new '84 Jeep Cherokee (used to tow my first boat.) All was well until I got engaged. Actually still had the last 3 and the boat but was forced to sell the Nova (I actually cried when the buyer drove it away) and the Cutlass but kept the Cherokee and of course the boat. Next was a '99 Nissan Pathfinder which my son now has and then a '08 Frontier Pickup. I tend to keep my cars around 10 years or so.
  2. Does that humminbird come with GPS and sidescanning?

I've abandoned all other since giving the RageTail Lizard a try. This thing is killer. Unless you want something bigger. I also like Gambler's Loco Lizard.
  4. Have you tried drying some out, lighting it and seeing what it smells like?
  5. Now that's 2 good things about Tennessee. Fishing the other.

Drag a Toad over the top and drop a Lizard, Spacemonkey, Jig/Craw or Anaconda in the pockets, holes and through the grass where possible. I think you will like the results. And the Rage Army grows!
  7. Amen to that my friend!
  8. X2 on the family support thing. What is the common denominator in all these cities? Find that out and don't be afraid of what the answer is and we could find the solution.
  9. I think the main point is being missed. We are finally starting to find out where the several billions of our hard earned tax dollars are being spent as a result of a bill that was passed by a congress that admitted they never read it. Well at least by enough of congress to get it signed. Although there are many good programs getting a well deserved influx, there are some that defy imagination. And it ain't over yet. I know Tyrius is going to rip me a new one this. But his opinion matters as does everyone else's. I wish everyone was as well informed as he is. Thank God some people here in Illinois stood up to the machine and defeated the latest attempt to hike our already high taxes.
  10. Yeah and I bet Miller park would actually sell out. Wow. Lot's of pent up anger. Maybe misdirected. Did you play for the Cubs and get cut? Remember- nothing good can come from hate and it only shortens you're life and gets you nowhere.
  11. WTG! Hence your name!
  12. I'd say all Year too but 3 months would have to be exclude. Not too good of a bait for Icefishing.
  13. Wrong place to ask that question. I know a few Walleye guys that swear by Gulp and in saltwater that's about all they use. However, I don't use it much for bass. As other have said, kind of stiff but if you do get bit they aren't letting go. Use *** and smear on some Megastrike.
  14. Brush Hog. Yum Wooly Hawgtail and Sooie. Larew Hoo-Daddy Did I say Brush Hawg. Power Hawg. Last but not least Space Monkey.
  15. Hey Burley- Did you look for the pot of gold?
  16. GP- Here would be best case scenario: One wins the division, one the wildcard, and they meet for the pennant. Trust me, after 100 years of frustration you'd think we'd be used to it but it still hurts. 2 years in a row of having your heart torn out isn't fun. If it's not the Cubs, I honestly hope it's the Brewers (not the Cards). But not if they play eachother. Season is only going to get more interesting. You and CJ must be smiling now but there is alot of ball left. Time will tell

This thread won't seem to die. Just saw a replay of the classic on ESPN and it showed Ike rigging up a tube bait and then picking up a white tube of what I could swear was Megastrike. The camera cut away almost instantly. There was no mention of him using it in Bassmaster coverage. I'm pretty sure it was Megastrike. These guys must want to keep it a secret.
  18. Hey Cart- You sure it wasn't that ferocious man-eating monster your holding that took a bite out of your leg?
  19. Googled it and it looks exactly like a Dalton Special but with rattles.
  20. X2 on the Tru-Tungsten and Spro for good hardbaits. For soft baits I have been doing very well on a 4.5" Strike King Shadalicious. Size is relevant to size of bass in your waters. I also use the 5.5" Baby Bass is also good soft choice.
  21. Big-O beat me to it. I prefer the Craw anyway. On some jigs the chunk can get lost in the skirt.
  22. These are Killer! Now if we could get Bobby to lower the price. Great quality and you do get what you pay for.
  23. I fish mostly gin-clear water and use more natural or subtle colors like green pumpkin, good old pumpkinseed, and watermelon/black flake. For flukes and such go with shad or bluegill and perch imitating colors based on forage present. Black/Blue seems to work well for deeper water.
  24. Check ebay. Sometimes you get lucky. Last year I picked up 4 live pointers, new in package, for $10.00 shipped.
  25. Hard and then duck in case it's a dink.
