I recently got a tube of Yamamoto Megastrike form Dick's. Asked Bobby about it and he said this batch was made for over in Japan as it is more of a crawfish scent and they go ape for that over there. Anyway, gave it a try and it works as good or better than the original. Went back and got another 2 tubes. Check your local Dick's to see if they have the Yamamoto Megastrike. It's actually priced less. P.S JJ's stinks! ;D ;D

Love Power Bait but not too fond of Gulp. They seem stiffer and tend to dissolve.

Love em too. Great for when you are fighting a 25 mph wind and trying to hold a spot or skip to a dock or boat. They don't slide up or down the hook so you don't have to re-rig if you make a bad cast and lose boat position. Only problem I have had is after a couple weeks of using the same bait it tends to float up. Possibly because the salt has leached out. Not the worst problem though as how many of us can say we have used the same senko for more than a day or two, especially after hooking a fish or setting the hook a few times.

I had a seagull grab my Rapala in midair some years ago. Like fighting a kite. He didn't even thank me when I took the hook out. Didn't bite me either.

First time I heard TYPE I had to know who these guys were. Great hard rock!

After getting over the stickershock of needing a new well dug, I finally got a chance to spend a couple days at my cottage. Finally got pix out of camera so here goes. Sat was 25 MPH winds. Memories of Kentucky Lake. Still managed a few decent ones on a 4.5" Shadalicious swimbait. Sunday laid down a bit so I took my dad with and we had pretty constant action for about 5 hours. 2 big girls were 5-2 and 4-8. Both on Shadalicious swimming it through the deeper weeds (5-7 feet) and through emergent pads. Sexy Shad color of course. Got a few decent ones on lizards also. My dad lost a monster probably 6lb + close to the boat. 4" sluggo. That's all he ever throws. He almost threw his rod in the water. Hope I can make it back up next weekend!

It's unfortunate but by today's standards, s**t is pretty tame and commonplace compared to alot of other words used. Still no excuse for using it around children.

Good point. I seem to remember a YouTube video about rigging a swimbait with this style hook. Also saw a Hank Parker episode where he cuts the bottom of hollow style baits. Might help with hookups (I haven't tried as I don't seem to have hookup issues) but this will definitley turn each bait into a 1 or 2 fish bait. X2 I like the 3/16 oz. with a Ragetail Lizard. Sounds unusual but it works! On Kentucky Lake for sure but has it held up for you? What didn't work on Kentucky lake? Works here too. So far some decent males. Lots of nips from gills though.
