  1. Where did you guys find the tungsten shot? I've looked around and contacted some companies but I've never seen it where you can just buy it online.
  2. Another vote for Costa.
  3. I have some that don't have the lead in the bill. So I assume they were made after 1980. I just saw this one going for over $200 on eBay and wondered how old it was. Not like I would pay that for it. http://cgi.ebay.com/BAGLEYS-DB-3-BALSA-WOOD-BAGLEY-DB3-CRANKBAIT-LURE-O72_W0QQitemZ250542840022QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item3a558458d6
  4. How can you tell how old a Bagley DB3 is?
  5. I keep my jigs heads and skirts separate. Jig heads can go in just about any plano box and the skirts are stored in bags according to color. Sometimes I'll put jig heads and skirts together to make the jigs I think I'll use for the day and sometimes I'll just put them together on the water.
  6. For those that aren't buying on eBay or quit because of a bad experience, you're missing out. If you just check their feedback and do a quick google search you can easily weed out most fakes. I'm not saying you'll never get ripped off, even though I never have, I would have to say the positives outweigh the negatives with eBay.

Natural, are you talking about what Grandebass calls their Diamondback when you said the 6" version?

  9. I live a little west of Roanoke, VA and this has been the coldest week for us this fall. It has been in the high 50's, low 60's so far and the low's for tonight are in the 40's. I have a tournament this weekend on a local, deep, rocky lake, Claytor. Think Smith Mountain Lake if you're unfamiliar. I haven't been able to get out lately and won't be able to till the day of it. I was just curious to how your fish are acting this week.
  10. The wires crossed where the female plug plugs in, as in they touched each other. It got really hot and hasn't worked since.
  11. Never been much of a mechanic but just in case one of my friends can fix it, do you know what part they would be talking about for $90 that I would need to buy?
  12. I have a 14' v bottom john boat that I got last Christmas and I've been working on it to get it ready to fish. The last thing is getting a trolling motor. My dad gave me a broken 2006, 42lb Motorguide. It would be perfect for my boat but the last time we used it the wires got crossed and the motor burnt up. I called a couple certified Motorgiude places and they estimated, for a new part and labor, it would cost about $170 to fix. I could almost buy a new one. Thing is I'm broke. Should I be able to get it fixed cheaper? Should I just buy a new one? I built a deck for the boat so a foot control is what I want.
  13. Thanks, I'm going to have to check that out. I hate cleaning mine.
  14. Stringjam, what airbrush did you order? I bought a cheap, siphon feed, Paache to clear with and the clean up is not fun at all. I'm looking for something easier to clean. Thad
  15. You can fish a Zoom Mag Finesse Worm like a Senko.

I mean really, why in the world would they give it that name? It just doesn't sound like Rapala and if they are trying to target a younger market or something this isn't the best route.
  17. Watermelon Craw This pattern is a great seller and very easy to do. 1) Base coat white. 2) Spray bottom half with some kind of pearl orange. 3) Mix together pearl greens and browns till you get a watermelon color and spray top half of bait. 4) Use a stencil or mask off and paint with black. 5) Splatter back with black. Like the green apple Natural. Fished them yet?
  18. The Big Bite Baits Squirrel Tail and the Damiki Finesse Miki worms have great action.
  19. I prefer to use a spinning reel too but in my clear waters I like to use heavy jigs at times and spinning gear won't cut it.
  20. Just seeing how you guys like to setup your baitcasters when skipping, as far as how loose or tight you set it and how many breaks? I can do it really well with my old DHSV Curado but I'm having a hard time with the newer model Curados.
  21. How many people can fish? How many people can fish and sell a product? How many people can fish, sell a product, and teach others?
  22. http://www.***.com/icast09.html?ccode=LUCKY0902 Sounds like it is though.
  23. Anyone know if these are going to suspend? I would assume they are but haven't seen anything saying so.
