  1. When do you know you've made it in the industry? ...
  2. I agree A-Jay. I know some people hate SK because of tuning issues but if this crank can produce like the RC at a 1/3 of the price then I'll take the time to tune the bait.
  3. This guy seems to have a lot. http://shop.ebay.com/silicadesiccants/m.html?_nkw=
  4. I'd say you're about right. I just wonder if there is a big difference in a bait like the Red Eye that wobbles as it sinks and another lipless that drops like a rock.
  5. I was just curious to see if any of you guys have ever calculated the rate of fall for any lipless cranks. I'm specifically curious about the Red Eye 1/2oz and the Flatt Shad 1/2oz. I plan to do it myself soon but figured I'd compare it to other's observations.
  6. Not that I remotely think that KVD's crank made a big difference but I just compared his square bill to a RC and they are almost completely identical. The only thing that I can notice at all is that the bill of KVD's seems to be like 100th of an inch wider at the base where it comes out of the crank.
  7. Tabu Tiny Tim?
  8. Go to the search function up top and copy what I have put in and you will get a lot of "favorites".
  9. Patrick seemed so passionate about his lures. I wonder if he will still be apart of the design of the lures at all. I really liked his enthusiasm in his demonstrations. *edit* Looks like he will still be involved with the company. Glad to hear that.
  10. 6" Straight Tail Roboworm with their 1/0 light wire Rebarb hook. Pick the colors you like. I'm usually throwing Ehler's Edge, Martens Madness, or Morning Dawn. I fish a drop shot as more of a casting technique most of the time, instead of under the boat. I Texas rig the worm so I can throw it in and around cover.
  11. What moving baits do you throw in clear, calm water?
  12. I'm looking for a rod to throw small cranks and double as a small jerkbait rod. For those that have this rod, what do feel this rod handles well?
  13. Here's the result of a red spinnerbait.
  14. I also put some of my plastics in boxes. I just put the ones that I use the most in boxes because I find them easier to get to. Try not to mix baits though. Especially ones made out of different plastics, like 3X. For the rest of my plastics I keep them in their original bags and then put them in freezer bags according to the type of bait.
  15. I had never heard of them either. http://www.hhlure.com/rubberwobbleworm.html
  16. I know which ones you are talking about. Especially the one guy who sells hundreds of the Ghost Minnow Lipless baits, the jerkbaits, and the fake G-Splash. But there are definitely LC baits to be had for less than $10.
  17. I don't think I ever sold any of those here. I've sold some stuff but I don't know about those.
  18. If you search eBay's completed auction listings you can see that Lucky Crafts go for less than $10. I was buying used ones off of a guy once for $7 a piece. I bought over 100 from him to paint and resale.
  19. I really like the Lake Fork Live Magic Shad. I had some great days with it this year. I usually throw the 4.5" version on the same hook as soccplayer07 mentioned.
  20. If you're a smart shopper you can get LCs for $8.
  21. I do what fourbizz said but I use an epoxy to fill the hole. I use Devcon 2 Ton Epoxy. Use the 30 minute formula. The 5 min is not waterproof and will eventually allow water in. Sometimes I drill the hole on top and sometimes the bottom depending on the bait.
  22. I'm using a Mac also. When I'm at work the site is a lot faster with the Dells there.
  23. It's the same for me in FireFox and Safari.
  24. I've been meaning to ask this for about a month or so. The site has been extremely slow for me for the last month. It didn't use to be and no other sites are slow for me at the time. Is anyone else experiencing this? I'm not complaining but I'd like to know if it's on my end so I can fix it.
  25. That is the rod I need. After looking at the review it looks to have the exact tip I want. Now I just have to find one and hopefully for less than $300.
