Best Boat Insurance
I would highly recommend you check out Anglers Advantage Insurance. www.anglersadvantageinsurance.com I have use them for years and they are a great company. Competitive rates and if you need to file a claim you will recieve quick, friendly service. I unfortunately had 3 claims in 18 months, settled quickly without any hassles. Best of all, no rate increase. Check them out.

Alright guys lets see them

Problem Pouring Jigs:PLEASE QUICK RESPONSE
Try preheating the mold. The lead may be cooling to quickly and not bonding to the hooks. Also, smoke the mold so the lead will flow more easily.

Pouring question
You'll have to get a skirt cutter. Check with Del-mart for a tube tail cutter. Or you can just cut them with a razor blade or exacto knife.

Stiff steering. What to do???
Be real careful driving it. Once the cables start to wear, all the lube in the world won't stop it. If they break it is a dangerous situation.

any procraft owners
I'm not sure what type of cover you are looking for, but I use the trailer covers from BPS. You may also want to check with ProCraft and see what type of covers they sell. Good luck

A good company?
I have to agree with JT. First work on you fishing skills first, get your education and build your resume. It may take years to land a sponsor, but the fundamentals of communication, salesmenship and professionalism are a must. Good luck in your quest

Bill Dance Porcupine Fish Habitat
Cart7, I haven't seen the fishing tree for sale either. But I do know where a few are sunk on Texoma.

Who introduced you to fishing?
It was my Dad. I've been fishing for as long as I can remember. I live in Texas and Dad is in AZ, but when we get together we still go fishing. Lots of great memories.

Just Dreaming - but it could happen

Livewells (I need your help!!)
Something I did to help keep my fish alive was to install an oxygen pump system. It was real easy I bought a Big Bubbles aerator pump wired it to an accessory switch and then ran the air tubes into the livewell through the overflow hoses, seal the holes with aquarium silcone. Added the air stones and it was ready to go. The amp draw is real low so once I have fish in the livewell I just turn it on and leave it. I have a pump that will work on 2 livewells so I put in a shutoff for the passenger livewell when I'm not using it. Total cost was about $ 25.

Making Spinnerbaits
You will also need beads and clevises. Blade size will depend on the head size WCCT is right the catalog's have size charts. I like to use a piece of red wire insulation above the lower blade for a little different flash and vibration.

seasons
Just to rub salt in the wound. It is suppose to be in the mid to upper 60's here until after Christmas. God Bless Texas

How did you catch your HUGE smallmouth?
On a 1 oz spinnerbait in Feb. Slowrolling in about 8' of water. 5lb 4oz, not bad for a Texas SM

Re: Some people just dont get it.
Another reason I would never live in Ca. Jet skiers aren't as bad as the ski boats that want to ski in the creeks because it is to windy for them on the lake.

Lure Designers?
Glenn, This is true. But it is a site that small manufacturers and hobbiest are on a lot. I'm glad that this was added to the site, it is a great idea. Also, glad to see it back up. I've been out of touch for a while.

Painting Lead Sinkers Black
Another way you can turn lead black is to soak the weights in drain cleaner over night. Be careful and make sure you rinse the weights after you finish.

center driving bass boats
I have a friend with a 911 and one real advantage is it is the best rough water boat around. Big, wide and center seating keep you dry. You can seat 4 across in the Nitro. I'm not sure the boat you were looking at wasn't an Allison. They also make a center seat boat.

cold hands
I have a pair of the BPS gloves. They work good here, but I'm not sure how well the would work in 15 degrees. Fortunately, we don't see that very often

How many fishing forums are you a member of?
I belong to 4 including this one. Each has their good and bad points.

Transom Saver
If a motor was damaged by using a transom saver imagine the damage the boat would has suffered without one. In over 20 yrs of boating I have never seen or heard of a boat or motor being damaged by the use so a transom saver. But I have seen cracked transoms from rough roads and guys thinking the little lock on the motor was enough. Put the lock in place and see how much play is in the motor. All that vibration goes to the transom. Very cheap insurance, just make sure you get one that fits your trailer.

Should I or Shouldn't I????
Just because you are fishing from the back of the boat doesn't necessarily mean you will catch fewer fish. I fish a draw tournament trail and we have had a number of non boaters win our tournements. A good part of fishing is mental. Go in with an I can win attitude and fish hard. You will be suprised.
