  1. Hello Chase and Welcome to BR ~ A-Jay
  2. Raul, Thank you the tip, I really appreciate it. I have not tried the Subwoofer yet, in any capacity as a trailer or a stand alone bait, but I certainly will now. Are you trimming the bait at all are you using it as is ? A-Jay
  3. What you're asking often ends up as a life long quest for many a bass angler. The concept seems simple but so many of us have found out that there's quite a bit to it. Finding information about catching big bass is easy, sifting through it all to find the "Right" info is not. A very good place to start lies between the pages of the book below. Though written a few years back, it's full of just what you're looking for and more. By applying the information to your area, you will definitely be headed in the right direction. Good Luck A-Jay
  4. I'm doing it now with Bladed Jugs ~ Chatterbaits. I am trying an assortment of trailers though. A-Jay
  5. I'll admit you are right there Dwight. But avatar fish have a way of helping one warm up to a bait. A-Jay
  6. This is a tough one. A review of my what seems like two tons of Plastics arsenal seems to indicate I don't really have a favorite. At least half my plastics use is as a trailer off the back of something. Sort of a toss up but I went with hollow belly swim bait - but craws, worms & stick baits get a good bit of use too. And my last DD came on a 7" Senko (as a Jig Trailer) so there's that. A-Jay
  7. That's not me - No wait, yes it is me - that's the ticket . . . . . . A-Jay
  8. Andrew if you could describe your boat's set up - I'm certain someone here will be able to shed some light on your situation. Things like what type of boat, motor, trolling motor and electrical system you have including your battery / electrical arrangement - will all help. A-Jay
  9. If you have something close to a 60 amp Breaker between the battery and the motor (And I hope you do) you may have tripped it. If not, you may have just fried something. A-Jay
  10. On a completely separate note - why are companies and banks able to check "my Credit standing" for free ? It's Mine, I'd like to control who see's it, when and why they do. Additionally I'd like to charge at least $10 for anyone & everyone who wants to check it. At least that would cut down on the all the BS mail I get . . . . . A-Jay
  11. Nice Job & Congrats on the Fatty ~ A-jay
  12. If you put a little JJ's or Megastrike on the bottle first, use the correct size treble hooks and don't make too big of a splash when you cast it, you should be OK. A-Jay
  13. Hello Ethan and Thank You for your Service. Welcome to BR ~ A-Jay (USCG Ret)

  16. Minimum Bare skin expose - The last knuckle on my finger tips is about it. Sun was at my back in the photo, so I pulled down the Buff. I'm living on the edge. A-Jay
  17. Nice Bass ~ Congrats ! Good Luck with your next adventure and your new goals with trout & smb. But since you've already admitted to the Bucket Mouth addiction - and you say you're going to just walk away; I'll offer that it might not be that easy. Oh you'll be OK - at first. As you're targeting beautiful trout and great fighting Bronzebacks, there may still be that little voice, way down deep in your soul that says, "Hey Man, Let's throw a swimbait around a bit, just for a while - just to see what happens" Oh you'll try and resist it, try to ignore the voice. But it will be persistant. And it may get louder and louder as time passes. Sooner or later, you'll have to cave - you know you will. The urge and desire to lay a tight thumb hold on a big fat bucket mouth will just be too much . . . .you'll have no choice. It's OK though - who could blame you right ? After all, it's an addiction and it's in your blood. You were meant to do it. But hey, what the heck do I know . . . . I could be making this all up. Signed A-Jay (Completely Addicted)
  18. If you are mostly swimming the bait - instead of Texas rigging try the Rage Rig. When matched with the correct weight size and rigged correctly, this will fix your spinning problem A-Jay http://www.ragetail.com/news/06/the-rage-rig/ http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/rage-rig.html

  22. I can not say which banks do or do not have restrictions on how much money you can send them. I can tell you that the banks I'm doing business with don't have a problem with me sending them my money, whether I owed it yet or not. A-Jay
