Fishing Poems?
The PB Cast after cast from dusk til dawn We fish so very hard all season long. Dredging the bottom, out in the rain, Our backs ache, we ignore the pain. Bugs in our eyes, hooks in the hand, We spends more time on the water Than we do on the land. Our lawns need cutting; the dog needs a walk, We ignore all the chores to flip the next dock. Other can’t see it, our life long quest, We are forever searching for a personal best. A-Jay

Democracy is a form of government in which all eligible citizens participate equally either directly or indirectly through elected representatives in the proposal, development, and creation of laws. It encompasses social, religious, cultural, ethnic and racial equality, justice, liberty and fraternity. It is by far the most challenging form of government - and this whole situation might be a good example. A-Jay

What Is Your Most Successful Use Style With A Senko? Texas Rigged, Wacky, Texas Rigged Weighted, Other?
<<<<<< She gobbled up a 1/2 oz jig & 7 inch Senko trailer. Texas threaded on the back of the jig like one would rig a craw or other typical trailer. A-Jay

Loosing Fish
One way to increase hook setting power while using your current rod & reel is to switch to a braided line. You'll get a solid hook up and be able to move the fish quickly, which sounds like what you're looking for. Good Luck A-Jay

St Croix Vs Dobyns Please Only People Who Have Used Both And Will Be Honest..
Hello and Welcome to BR ~ Good Luck with your poll & your search for a new flipping, pitching & punching stick. I've only used St Croix and I'm Bias. So as per your request, I did not participate in your survey. A-Jay

Stainless Or Chrome Deck Hardware
Quality hardware is $$$$$. But you'll only buy it once. Purchase something else, there's a good chance you'll end up removing it, purchasing a replacement and installing it again. A-Jay

Leader Problem: Hang-Ups Breaking Off At Leader Knot Instead Of Lure Knot...
You are describing the symptoms and not the problem. Your first problem is you're getting snagged in the first place. Perhaps you could re-evaluate your bait / technique selection and choose one that is more suited for the conditions. Using a light line leader and spinning gear and a bait that gets snagged in an area that has them, might not be a formula for success - especially during a tournament. By modifying your technique / presentation to match the environment the bass are in, you may find more success. Without more information regarding your angling situation, it's difficult to offer you an insightful solution. I will say a different knot will make little to no difference. A-Jay

What's On Your Mind Today, Fishermen?
First weekend of the Bass C & R Opener - water and air temps low 40's with a pleasant 20 mph+ East wind. Not the best of conditions. 5 day Forecast ~ 5 days of cold rain. It's like a bad dream. A-Jay

The Gary Yamamoto Senko is a great way to start out. There is plenty of info on it here. The first link has basic info and the second is a pathway to so much more.
