  1. First weekend of the Bass C & R Opener - water and air temps low 40's with a pleasant 20 mph+ East wind. Not the best of conditions. 5 day Forecast ~ 5 days of cold rain. It's like a bad dream. A-Jay

  3. The Gary Yamamoto Senko is a great way to start out. There is plenty of info on it here. The first link has basic info and the second is a pathway to so much more. Good Luck A-Jay http://www.bassresource.com/fishing_lures/senko.html http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/12401-senko-faq- look-here-first/

  22. I am all for not being foolishly wasteful with resources; over population seems to be getting out of hand and blatant pollution is dumb. Some scientists believe the Earth is over 4 Billion years old. There is also evidence that man has inhabited the earth for close to 200,000 of them. So for some where in the neighborhood of 3,999,800,000 years, the planet did just fine with out us. Man, as a species, has a lot of nerve thinking that he can actually ruin a planet. Looking back at supposed history will show that when Mother earth thinks it's time or when she gets tired of human being on her surface, she will shake us off like a head cold. And there will be nothing we can do about it. Another ice age, or perhaps a rash of hurricanes, tornados, earth quakes, flash floods, forest fires, mud slides and tidal wakes ought a do it. Or is the case of the deep south - an inch and a half of snow. I'm not predicting anything or a proponent of doom & gloom. Simply providing a little perspective. A-Jay

  25. Skunk Buster Bait ~ That's Excellent - now my new favorite term. Flukes are a staple south of the border for Big Bass ~ and the local population has a liking for them as well. A-Jay
