And for those who are perhaps looking to add some of the great titles listed here, Amazon.com is an very convenient and inexpensive resource. Not all but several very good reads are available "Used" for as little as one penny - that's $00.01 dollars and at least half the time that's with free shipping. My wife & I both utilize this and would encourage members not to shy away from this because of the "Used" designation. Amazon used book are all we buy anymore and every one has either met and often times exceeded the provided description. In fact, there have been several Autographed collector's editions received that were sold for 1 cent & free shipping. Give it a try. A-Jay

What Are Your Favorite Tubes?
Been buying my tubes from PROvider Tackle for a while now. Owned by Art Ferguson - he know something about tubes. http://www.providertackle.com/store/index.php?route=product/category&path=66 I fish very clear water and a couple of their colors just work here. Both 3 1/2 and 4 inch in BBQ Melon and Roadkill have been very good. A-Jay

Need Advice For Move To Baitcasting
You may want to consider learning to cast and fish with the other wing. Then you'll be able to spread the work load around. I do it. A-Jay

Canoe Modification In Progress.
I put carpet in my Old Town Predator. I got the idea from my pick-up truck. I have been putting a product called a "Bed Rug" which is a form fitted all weather bed liner in my past few vehicles. It's a very good product. Used the indoor-outdoor stuff. It covers the entire length of the boat in 2 sections overlapping under the middle bench seat. Used a card board template to form fit a custom cut. Also glued a thin water proof foam backing to the under side of the carpet. The blue foam is sold as a sleeping bag mat. I think it was 3ft x 7 ft and perhaps 3/4" thick. I purchased 3 and cut and pasted what I needed. This keeps the carpet in place, is a nice cushion under the feet, provides insulation, make the canoe very quite and is easy to remove and clean. This same material has been down for six seasons now and is in good shape. I'd expect to get at least 2 or 3 more years out of it before I'll need to replace it. I really like it. A-Jay

Which Camera For My Boat
- Leader With Braid?
X2 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ This The only difference for me is I actually prefer a leader of mono; for casting & spinning. Tried Fluorocarbon & Copolymer leaders and still have gravitated back to the monofilament. My home waters are very clear so I go with the largest pound test They will bite. Sometimes that's 4 or 6 lb other times it's 12-15 lb depends on the application and the cover. The detractors of mono will note the undesirable qualities of the line and there are a few. But when used as leader and not a main line many of these traits become beneficial in my eyes. Great knot strength. Excellent ability to Repeatedly handle shock & stretch. Decent abrasion resistance in most situation. Great manageability. Assists in working topwater baits. Very reasonably priced. I don't use this system unless it's applicable and Nothing works for every application but this works for me in most. Berkley Big Game and Maxima Ultragreen leader with a Power Pro or Sufix 832 main line. A-Jay- What To Do With This Rod

Way to go ~ and it's about time. It will be tough sledding at first but after 3 weeks or so you'll start to feel a little better. Either way, that's the path you chose so grab your shirt Nancy and Man up ! And I'm not going to wish you Good Luck either because you don't need Luck. What you need you already have, a strong mind; So use it. And your metabolism is going to slow down too, so watch what you eat. **************************************************************************************** That was my attempt at tough love ~ how'd I do ?
