  1. Nice Kings ~ Cleary largemouth are named for their over-size yap. But would you look at the Gaping Maw on that fish . . . Looks like it could swallow your head. A-Jay
  2. If at first you don't succeed, Reschedule. Going for the early November Bite. A review of Recent Records reveals the possibility of a top water bite of Epic Proportions. A-Jay
  3. A-Jay commented on aceman387's gallery image in Fishing Albums

  8. That was a Mutant Pike ~ ! And out of a 7 acre pond - Crazy. A-Jay
  9. Experience has proven to me that when an individual who is willing to so grossly over harvest under sized fish gets caught, it is Almost never their first time. Smells like more than personal use and there could be some shipping and handling involved. Be nice if Law Officials could "follow the Fish" to where they were supposed to end up. I sincerely hope that Mr. Hervino Nunez-Aleman is Prosecuted to The Fullest Extent of The Law. A-Jay
  10. You are Correct Tom - And if you look closely at the book, there is a Reservation to the Lodge with your name on it . . . . . Come On - Do It. A-Jay
  11. Every time I think about having wait until March to go back - I become Physically ILL ~ A-Jay
  12. You were looking forward to reading one and we were looking forward to living it and then writing one. On a positive note - whenever we get back there - that next trip is already paid for. A-Jay
  13. I hope we can get back down there some how soon. Glad I had the trip insurance. A-Jay
  14. For me Fall has three parts - early, middle and late. Early - Top water, Spinner baits, Lipless baits and Jigs are used to follow fish where ever they may be. Middle - seems to be less top water action. Lipless baits, jigs and Swim baits (A-rig even) really shine. Late - It's almost all slow rolling swim baits and jigs for me. A-Jay
  15. Storms have resurfaced in the area. Not looking good. Bummer needle is rapidly swinging into the RED. A-Jay
  16. Heading out into the night to fish whether on the bank or in a boat, you must KNOW the water / areas you intend to fish. You also really need to be intimately familiar with all your tackle and it's use. You must be organized and most of all you need to be safe. Unfamiliarity with the above in complete or even partial darkness truly reduces one's chances of fishing success and safety. I'd encourage you to fish during the day "like you were fishing there at night" I don't mean close your eyes either. Quite on the contrary. Look at where you want to fish at night closely during the Day and LEARN IT. Remember where everything is because that's all you'll have at night. Your mission on these trips does not need to be catching fish, but to prepare you to come back at night and catch fish and to be safe while doing it. When ready, you'll know it. You'll know how, why, where and when to fish certain areas at night. Knowledge and experience gained during the day can and will help guide your actions to success at night. Make sure you tell someone where you're going and when you'll be back. And if you don't return who they should call. The rewards of night ops are many. If a place is good during the day, it's almost Always much better at night. And even places that are very poor producers during the day are often Killer at night. These are my favorites as I often have them all to myself. You might not fish during the day of the warmer months again - I don't. Good Luck A-Jay
  17. Really nice. Sensory Overload ~ A-Jay
  18. Yup - but each and every one of his "Cast" lasted 20 over minutes ! A-Jay
  19. I grew up right out side of Boston, Ma . I was then and am now a Huge sports fan. As a kid in the 60's & 70's - The Celtics were great, The Bruins had some good years, The Red Sox tore your heart out seemed like every year & The "Boston" Patriots were Horrible. Through the years and a career in the service moving all over, I always followed these teams. Helped me stay connected to home. Over the past 40 years it's been one of my life's greatest pleasures to watch and follow these teams through the successes and failures they've each had. The excitement, the anxiety, the heartache and the jubilation is just so good. Taking my son to games in the old Boston Garden and spending long sunny days at Fenway Park, these are times that are hard to match. Though I can respect other cities teams and franchises, I will always follow these teams regardless of their place in the standings. Sports - the First and Only Reality TV. A-Jay
  20. Come on now - don't be like that Dwight. You've put me on 2 over six ~ A guy has no right to ask for any thing more . . . . . . . . . A-Jay
  21. I am also a believer in the utilization of Scent on just about every bait, hard and soft. I lather up the vast majority of my presentations. Pro-Cure Super Gel is my choice. Comes is many "flavors", however the Trophy Bass is the only one I've gotten to. Works so well, I stopped there. A-Jay
  22. I'm definitely not - But D Jeter plays the right. Sorry for the Hijack. A-Jay
  23. If by "running back" you mean running back to the Doctor - then I'm with you. A-Jay

  25. You're right. I'm a Knucklehead and misread the OP. Sorry. Still a Jim Brown Fan though. And so there ya go - A-Jay
