I'm with the rest of the guys on a quality scale, there are several to chose from. Prior to using the scale, I was doing the "TV Fishing Host Guesstimate" method where I'd hold out the bass and say " that's every bit of 6 lbs". Well, the first thing the scale taught me was that - 6lb fish are really 5lb fish and 5lb fish are really 4lb fish and so on. . . . . . . . So if this is something you'd rather not find out for yourself, don't get a scale. A-Jay

Thanks for the info Boats ~ I'm a freak when it come to vehicle maintenance / detailing. I do use that detailer alone and together with the "clay". My favorite basic painted surface deal is called Klasse All-In-One Paint Cleaner & Polish - Over the years I've tried several and this stuff is the real deal. I even use it on my baby (GTO) and then top coat it with a high quality carnuba - A-Jay

I won't know for several weeks once C&R bass seasons opens here. But on another note - I hope ALL of the Mosquito's and Biting Flies hatch out right now and then All die in the multiple inevitable frosts we're bound to have. Then we'll have a Bug - Free summer . . . Who's with me . . . . . A-Jay

Yup - I grew up in MA and fished NH allot as well. Kibby was the name for just about anything that ate a worm hanging under a bobber. The one exception was a horn pout (?) - the spines on those buggers are Wicked Shaaarp. A-Jay
