Keeping T-rigged baits on an EWG?
Been using parasite clips for years. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/search-tackle.html?start=0&count=30&searchtext=parasite+clip Holds the bait on an ewg or round bend hook as well as preventing it from sliding down the shank on the strike and balling up/covering the hook point. Goes on between the weight & the hook, Size small & medium will do most everything. Hook sizes from 1/0 - 6/0 A-Jay

Spinnerbait….what I’m doing wrong?
If you can see the fish, they can see you. Rarely ever a real strike generating situation. Go at night. A-Jay

How much do you spend a month on tackle?
In the recent past, I've been Much Better than I used to be. But this week I sort of regressed a bit. Ordered a new reel as well as an embarrassingly ridiculous number of Jackhammers. In my own defense, the jackhammers were on wicked sale and @Glenn sent me a new rod. So I'm pretty sure it's mostly his fault. ? A-Jay

Working to Stay Lean ~
After celebrating my 63rd successful lap around the sun yesterday, I was once again fighting gravity this morning. As scheduled, Total Body 3 was the focus and I was highly motivated. Happens right after most every birthday these days. #borninfiftynine A-Jay

When You Get Older
I live 'in the woods' and cover up 'everything' every time I venture out into it. Includes but may not be limited to most lawn maintenance, cutting wood, and hitting the trail with Tank. Keens, tall socks, long pants & shirt, hat, gloves & buff. Besides keeping the bugs off me (ticks & biting flies mostly), helps reduce contact skin irritations that I'm apparently fairly sensitive to. Plenty of plants, shrubberies and itchy & pokey vines here to contend with. More in warm weather than cool. So Summer, I'm a mummy and spring & fall, I can lighten that whole deal up a bit. A-Jay

can you recommend a regular type bassboat PFD?
In my world, a quality inflatable is the most comfortable for all day wear. Can't even say how many times I've worn mine right into the truck and backed half way down the ramp before I realized I was still wearing it. The trade off is mainainance / CO2 recharge. Type III's totally work but are not my idea of all day comfort. btw - the inflatable doesn't 'count' as a Life Jacket unless you're wearing it. I prefer Mustang. A-Jay

MLF Stage 6 Cayuga
His "team" is no doubt already working on it. And I'd be shocked if before he puts his head on a pillow tonight he didn't have all brand new deals in his rig. A-Jay

Stained water - I’ve got some learning to do
I'd stick to presentations that were made very close to or on the bottom. Texas rigged plastics & jigs. As well as focusing on shallow water cover (Hard & Soft). Fishing super close to or right in it. Always felt like bass living in those conditions use cover for a point of reference. Rarely much going on in open water for me in that stuff. Perhaps watch @Bluebasser86 recent video. Seems he's doing OK is similar conditions. https://youtu.be/765T5RQZFa4?t=108 A-Jay

Night Bass Fishing
They sure do ~ I had to upgrade the 'blade hardware' on theses (swivel & split rings) because the bass were hitting the blade & ripping it off ! I was missing strikes and getting back a bladeless bait. Even I could figure that one out. A-Jay Can't say but I'm usually fishing in super clear water conditions. Sort of what helps makes night time - the right time . . . A-Jay

Favorite fishing knot
Funny story ~ For about three years, and in tests over 8 lb, I tied this one thinking it was a SDJ. Never failed. Should have seen my face when I finally figured it out. In the end, didn't even mater. Both are good, IMO. A-Jay

Favorite fishing knot
Uni-Knot for mono and braid. Uni to Uni to connect anything to braid. SDJ for fluorocarbon. All else fails, I go with the Mite Knot. Might hold, might not ! ? A-Jay
