Consider revisiting the where & when and let the how rest a bit. Perhaps throw the Texas rig in the same places & at the same time you are getting bites on a jig. A-Jay

Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Arking ~ In 1936, archaeologist and adventurer Indiana Jones is hired by the U.S. government to repair the Ark of the Covenant by using high heat to melt the parts together and allowing them to cool, causing fusion. 5. Caddyshacking ~ Danny Noonan works as a caddie at the exclusive Bushwood Country Club, with no preparation....no toothbrush or extra clothes, spontaneously spends the night with a member of the opposite sex in a non-platonic way, following a night of bar-going and a fabulous date. Then, wearing what he wore out the night before, gets dropped off in a random parking lot but can't remember where he left his ride. A-Jay

  9. Lots of options up here ~ Plenty of decent local stuff 10-30 minutes away. Best big fish water is all 45-90 minutes away and quite a bit more further. Never felt the urge though. The ride there goes by quick, usually happens in the dark. How the ride home goes is directly related to my level of success. Which can be defined in a few different ways depending net, scale, camera use and of course, the weather. Didn't mention or include 'the boat rides' to get to my spots, as they are almost always one of the best parts of my trips. A-Jay

Rarely - there's almost always some kind of soft cover happening. And while the 6th sense baits are very good and I have & fish several including the suspender & the FRS, Sometimes the shimmy fall of the RES is what they want; especially after a rip out of the grass. So that's what I give them. A-Jay

  15. I remember that. Have to admit there's at least some chance those catches may have played a partial role in my decision to purchase said bait. A-Jay

This started long before the Lund, in the Old Town. Hard to tell now but it's a silent gold sexy shad. Went and bought a few more because I thought it was the color. Didn't notice it at first but couldn't figure out why this particular bait was getting more bites. The deal was the internal weight that is in a fixed position, making it silent, became just a little loose inside the bait. (I think I may have bounced it off the Minn Kota on a cast one good time) So rather than a rattle, this one makes a really faint click. Been a good bait for me for 2-4 lb brown bass & unfortunately pike. No trophies yet but when I'm in search mode, this one's wet. A-Jay

Hard to say ~ they both work for me at times. And I have one Very Special 'Silent' lippless bait that has almost No Paint left on it. (Pictured at top of the box) Lost count of how many times I've changed the hooks & hardware. It's the 'one' bait I may actually consider going in after. So there's that. A-Jay
