  3. Despite a bit of sunshine & temps in the low 30's Accumulating snow is expected across most of northern Michigan tonight into early Wednesday afternoon. The best chance for heaviest accumulations will be mostly right over A-Jay's house. Wet snow combined with reduced visibility will lead to hazardous travel at times, but I'm not going anywhere. A-Jay
  4. Yup ~ That was a bit of dramatic action Michael Neal pulled it out & Fletcher Shryock is very hurt Hope the shallow water bite heats up next few days. Otherwise I fear this one may be a lot more of the same slow action. A-Jay

  9. SK Rage Bug on a swinghead produces for me up here on brown bass early, mid season & late. Always have one rigged & ready. A-Jay
  10. It's just about 30 degrees here this morning - and no wind which is always nice. I'm headed out into the pre-dawn darkness for some Wally World grocery shopping. My last trip a couple a weeks ago, also early morning, it was -15 and the wind across the parking lot was no joke ! So this morning will be down right balmy compared to last trips brain freeze. 57 Days & a Wake Up ~ A-Jay

  13. @Dirtyeggroll We use Howling Dog Alaska gear exclusively. Have been for over 10 years. Superior High Quality stuff. In fact we're still using the very first sets we purchased in 2010, it's perfect. Below are the links to the gear. Have fun ! Tried several The Distance Harness in great for biking. It's the same gear we use on the sleds and Canicross (running) as well. https://howlingdogalaska.com/collections/harnesses/products/distance-harness https://howlingdogalaska.com/collections/skijoring/products/skijoring-line-one-doghttps://howlingdogalaska.com/collections/skijoring/products/skijoring-line-two-dogshttps://howlingdogalaska.com/collections/lines https://howlingdogalaska.com/collections/lines/products/kevlar-neckline A-Jay
  14. Perhaps consider having a Yamaha Factory trained technician service your motor. Might save you some time and $$$ down the line. A-Jay

  19. Powebait has been good for years. Ragetail stuff is very good, mostly the craws, Bugs, Menace, and Eeliminator. Maxscent Flat worm was a little mental last season. And the Paul Krews hand poured Goby Swimbait matched the hatch here for me to the tune of several plus sized brown bass. A-Jay
  20. I am interested in checking out that very stick ~ What's the "medium+" mean ? A-Jay

I need to bail on cable tv myself. Every month feels like I am being robbed. Hate it. Still looking into which way to go but it's happening and soon . Thanks for the thread and the nugde. I needed it. A-Jay
  22. Yup. I get all of that. Still plan on staying pat. And I was half kidding about the guide. We're been fishing with Manual for several years. A-Jay
  23. You're Right ! I forgot about that A-Jay
  24. I used to do this all the time. I STOPPED. In the long run, it just seemed that there was more to lose than to gain. Seemed I was better served to continue to fish what I know their eating, than to 'spend' so much of the hard earned / productive / often short lived time and or spot trying to learn what they won't. Plus our guide in Mexico yelled at me the first time I did it there. I was very hurt by that. ? A-Jay
