  1. I know ~ We can still enjoy it though .. . . A-Jay
  2. Yup - More on the way early next week A-Jay
  3. Never really did like 'Carrot Sticks' orange blanks and white wands don't do it for me either. The Yellow numbers offer by Skeet Reese by & large, make me a little nauseas. That said, I'm currently fishing St Croix's, some blue & some black, plus some Red & some dark brown Quantum's, a few dark green Fenwicks, and silver Diawa's. There's some older rods mixed in as well sporting various versions of a matted or gloss black. So for me, I guess it matters - What I may never get used to is the colored reels I've been seeing - Neon Green - Really ? A-Jay
  4. My "Cold Water" jigs are often a little "Hairy" Punisher Hair jig with a Reins Punching Predator Creature Bait 4" trailer (I'll often cut it back an inch) A-Jay
  5. Hello Nick and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ A-Jay
  6. I am often fishing them 'fast' - so everything needs to be 'true'. A-Jay
  7. I can only speak for the Tranx 300 as I've not fished a Lexa. The 300HG is solid and performed well on several Mexican Beasts this past October A-Jay
  8. ***************** Spoiler Alert ************************* Season Opener is a Dink Fest. A-Jay
  9. At this point, I'm still well behind the curve when is comes to 'Mastering' either. So I don't rightly know just how to respond ? ? ? A-Jay
  10. Good Call ~ Although I wasn't here for it, looks like it launched in or around perhaps November 2004 (ish) ? A-Jay
  11. Those two bodies of water are so picturesque and pristine, that just to be out on either is a great day in itself. Any fishing & catching done, is a true bonus. Just Gorgeous ! A-Jay
  12. Strike King KVD Perfect Plastic Blade Minnow ~ Adds bulk while still allowing the bait to run true & track straight. A-Jay
  13. That's a fair assessment @Catt ~ And I'm sort of ashamed for not having the newest 4-stroke technology listed. Especially considering I did manage to get in on that myself recently. (and it's a pretty big deal for me) A-Jay
  14. Seems that way to me as well. The motor on my rig does not have that capacity. However, I would not be totally opposed to changing that. A-Jay
  15. Congratulations on your New Rig ! A-Jay
  16. In no particular order ~ Shallow water anchoring systems (Talons / Power Poles) GPS guided Position holding enabled Trolling Motors (Ultrex) Improvements in Electronics - Both Side & Down Imaging Improved Fishing lines - In Both Braid & Fluorocarbon The Umbrella Rig is pretty good too. A-Jay

  18. Thank you very much for your input sir. And I must agree with you - Seems I did omit noting that smb are big time sight feeders - certainly not intentionally though. Should have come somewhere in the very first installment. I'm going to go back and add it now. And clearly, you'll now be listed in the 'credits' . . . A-Jay
  19. @DINK WHISPERER ~ Oh No. I don't know man, I have a hard enough time just training myself . . . A-Jay
  20. Being 'the spring chicken' that I am, I do stand quite a bit of the time. Don't really even like having the seat/post up on the bow - just seems to be in the way. That said, I do bring it with me (stored in the port bow compartment) and I have used it a few times. Especially on super long and particularly sloppy days on the water. Allows me - a few more casts I guess. A-Jay
